Not a great experience. I called ahead for lamination and said to call back 10 mins before we go in and were told that it would take about 5 mins. We went in and waited about an hour for them to not finish our items. They completed 4 small laminations( ruining one) and the big item was stuck in and was returned to me slightly worse for wear. Don’t come in for lamination services.

Nice little store with a lot of quality educational supplies. The owner however, isn't too friendly for non nuerotypical kids. I really liked the store set up alot better when they were more kid friendly before there move.

We brought our daughter and she absolutely loves this store. The lady was the most nicest person, she was so patient and very helpful. Our daughter is autistic and this is the best store to meet her sensory needs. Thank you so much for having such a wonderful store. I would definitely recommend this place for all children with special needs.

This place was recommended to us by a friend and can say we werent disappointed in the selection of neat toys and learning materials for our almost 2yr old. The store is full of everything from space stuff, musical toys, arts and crafts supplies, and quite a but more. The owner is very sweet and takes their time to talk and explain things. We unfortunately bought one item that was defective (not their fault) and it was swapped for a functional one with no fuss and a lot of sincerity. I hope this place continues to thrive and that we can keep bringing our daughter and friends here! We will be back!

If I could give 0 stars I would! A friend of a friend came here with her son who is autistic. And Deborah (the store owner) grabbed him by the shoulders and yelled at him for singing. She later apologized and said she didn’t know that he was autistic but that she wasn’t apologizing for her actions. Unbelievable. Don’t open a store if you’re going to be unbelievably rude.

I feel the old rating from 8 years ago is very UN fair. This is a specialty store. If teachers are looking for better prices on certain item basic school essentials of course Wal-Mart or Target would be understandable. There is also a supply store on the side street off of bangs by boomers. Kaiser used to have a smaller office there as well and you can go back way by CHP office. They have alot of clearanced items. Hands on store has wonderful ladies working there and all you have to do is ask for something and they will help you in any way they can. Also as a customer you need to ask what there return policy is. That's not fare to blame them. This store has a place in McHenry village. Need I say more? They have a higher rent and monthly over head they have to meet. I just get upset when I read an un just rating...The ladies are wonderful!!! I have two children who has a sensory disorder and they have great ideas...
