we entertain in many homes of varying sizes and types throughout Cumbria and Lancashire and see the relationship of the residents with the staff and each other.
I must congratulate you Rob on the quality of your colleagues and their attitude. Your residents told me that the staff are wonderful “every one of them” and that nothing is too much trouble for them. We witnessed exactly that in the couple of hours we were there. I believe that the general public do not fully understand what a difficult and demanding role care workers have and I think in most cases they are grossly undervalued.
Your colleagues are empathetic, caring and have a great relationship with your residents. This manifests itself in the happy and joyful demeanour of your guests. Well done Rob you have developed a Happy Joyous home and we look forward to meeting you all again.

My Dad is currently at Heron Hill and I cannot praise the staff enough, they are all amazing, caring and supportive. I am really at peace to know he is being cared for by such an amazing team. I cannot thank them enough for the care they are giving my Dad.

The home needs more staff, staff to spend less time on paperwork, a more efficient front door for wheelchair use.
Staff are very good, just not enough of them, especially weekends.
