@highpeakrunning - Brennan Just want to say Thank you 🙏 for being an amazing coach over the last 15 months.

It’s been a great journey and I have learnt so much about myself as a runner and how to train & fuel correctly with your guidance.

Starting as an unfit (who had let himself go) Ultra running novice 15 months ago to completing the 53 mile Lakes in the day Ultra, a massive PB in the Trigger and Successful Bob Graham Round in 12 months😍.

And the last 3 months building me back up after a twist of my ankle injured my tibialis to being on the start line at the Ultra X 50km this Sunday which I had written off 2 months ago!

It’s been a fantastic journey!

I would recommend @highpeakrunning Brennan & Kat to any of my running friends that have a dream or a goal they may think is out of reach in running.

Can't recommend Brennan's coaching highly enough. After c20 years of fell running, ultra running and adventure racing, during the the last 3 or so years he's turned me into a better runner - stronger, fitter, biomechanically more aware and much less prone to injury. Brennan is really thorough and his approach is hghly tailored, adjusting the type and volume of training to suit my goals and making sure they're stretching but manageable, around a busy job and other life commitments. He's clearly extremely knowledgeable and technically expert, and knowing that there is careful thought behind my training programme means I trust him implicitly, which in turn gives me a lot of confidence in both my training and racing. One of the best investments I've made. (Also he's a really nice guy!)

I’ve been working with Kat for nearly a year now and in that time she has helped me go from strength to strength. There have been times when I’ve doubted myself but I trusted the process and the results speak for themselves- I have been getting better and better results throughout the fell running season and I am so much stronger on the hills than before!
Kat is such a lovely person and so easy to work with. She must really have her work cut out factoring in my busy work/family schedule but somehow we manage to fit everything in!

Before I joined peak running I'd already completed a couple of ultras and quite a few marathons and half marathons. Now I've had Kat as my running coach for the last 5 months I have no hip flexors pain, stronger all round legs, and a constant strategic training plan that suits my needs and future goals. Kats a lovely woman and extremely helpful with a ton of experience of which she applies to your personal training plans. I 100% recommend peak running to anyone who wishes to improve their ability to go further and faster.

I have been coached by Brennan for a number of years now. Having a good coach when everything is going well and to plan is great but having a coach like Brennan when things are bad and not planned is absolutely essential.
In November 2022, two days into winter training, after a very successful season, finishing with the world masters mountain running championships for GB, I was hit by a car while training.
My world turned upside down instantly. However one of the first people to call was Brennan. Together he got me through the dark days and gradually he guided me back to full fitness throughout 2023 and finally in December 2023 I was able to build for 2024 and get back to the level I was pre accident.
In short, his expertise, support and how he is as a person, has made sure I am good enough to compete in the 2024 sky running world series as well as the UK and Ireland series.
I would recommend Brennan as a running coach to any standard of runner. You need him in your corner.

I’ve been working with Kat for almost a year and have never felt as strong. I began working with Kat to find consistency, break the habits of over training / getting injured and reset belief that living in London meant pushing harder all the time to make up for the lack of hills, rather than training smarter. Kat has been amazing, the steady and consistent improvement was more than I could have expected; even through a period of illness Kat was great in adjusting the training, allowing me to feeling like I was moving towards more positive goals.
I’ve had some great race results and even when I haven’t performed as well as hoped the strong foundation that the training has created has carried me through and I’m able to dissect with Kat what went wrong more accurately than just writing it off as not training ‘hard enough’.
Kat is always positive yet realistic and provides great attention to detail, the ability to adapt the training to feedback is really impressive! Thanks Kat!

Extremely glad I made the decision to go with High Peak running and a coaching plan. I am very much a beginner runner but the plan has kept me disciplined, and got me over various finish lines in the last 8 months that I would have not thought possible. You also learn a lot from their guidance.

Brennan really is excellent and will also give you that push when needed to help achieve your goals. I am sure all their plans are great, but I personally would highly recommend a coaching plan - Brennan really does tailor it around your day-to-day life and feedback from each run; is extremely responsive to questions; and when I picked up an injury it was invaluable, it is far more than just
a running workout plan. Most importantly he has got me loving running.
