Had a great stay at The Hilton Bankside.

The hotel is very clean, quiet, and nicely maintained. I had meetings nearby, so the location was perfect—everything was within walking distance, and there are two grocery stores conveniently located right below the hotel.

The gym is small but clean and efficient—perfect for staying fit while traveling.

Would definitely stay again!

I haven't stayed in the hotel, so I can not comment of rooms, service and breakfast etc. But I really really love the bar in this hotel. Hands down one of my favourite bars in London - an amazing atmosphere, clean, great service and their drink deals are great of you can get there in time for them! I also love that it's not super busy so you can actually sit down with friends and hear each other

Wonderful hotel in Bankside! I had a very pleasant stay here. We were offered prosecco on arrival and the staff was nice. The room was nice and clean, and I love how modern the furnishings are. The mini fridge actually stays cold and the AC is strong. I was also pleasantly surprised to see turn down service here.

Breakfast was included in my stay and I tried it one morning. This options were pretty standard, but I did like the fresh omelette and fruit.

Overall, I would consider this between a 3.5 to 4 star hotel.

Background and booking - I returned to this hotel last weekend rather last minute for my birthday family celebration - it’s been a firm favourite of mine for a couple of years now staying two or three times a year as a vegan solo traveller. |Booking on the Honours app was a bit difficult/ stilted so I booked it through the hotel website directly. |Check in - Check in was fine ,when I asked if upgrade was available it was full apart from one expensive suite ( the vegan suite).|Location and travel - Southwark tube station is currently closed at the weekends so the nearest tube is Waterloo, or London Bridge. The area can feel a little isolated/ quiet walking back alone at night from Southbank, London Bridge or Southwark - though the hotel itself feels safe and secure once back. |Good location close to Borough Market, The Globe, St Paul’s. |The room - was disappointing, rather dark with a small window with scaffolding outside. No bath which would have been nice after a long day of walking. Two soft drinks in the fridge which weren’t replenished. A mini kettle with instant coffee. Comfortable beds. |Hotel - There is building work going on currently with drilling. |I’ve usually had an executive room with lounge access but as we wanted a twin we plumped for twin deluxe. Unfortunately there is no lounge area to chill out in in the hotel apart from the lobby area or paying bar unless you have the executive lounge access so I’d say it is better to go for the lounge access option - though it adds quite a cost on. |Thanks - Special mention to the welcoming doorman who was very nice, the Prosecco on arrival, the chef in the restaurant who was happy to cook vegan sausages and discuss vegan options, the staff at the desk by the lifts who ordered a taxi for us which arrived within minutes and the bar staff - thank you. |The check out process - was a little rushed/ confused - they hold money on your card at check in which is not immediately refunded so we ended up with a double bill going on and this could have been better explained. |Overall I’d probably stay again at some point in the future but maybe try somewhere else first and if I did stay, go back to lounge access and a bigger room with bath and shower.

We were supposed to stay here, until we saw through reviews on Google that there was construction happening on the hotel from 9am-5pm every day and that all the windows on the facade are covered (due to the construction), leaving almost no light coming in for most of the rooms. (We confirmed these facts with the hotel by email.) There was no indication of construction on the website, and had we not checked here, we would have had no idea until we arrived. This total lack of public transparency borders quite closely on fraud. We were able to find another option, and I would suggest others planning on staying here do so as well, because the construction is supposed to be going on the rest of this year (confirmed by email with the hotel) but perhaps more because the people running this hotel have no problem with essentially lying to the public about conditions there.

Miro was a delight and very helpful delivering our room service. Food was brillant and very quick to come. |Miro deserves a pay raise. ||Room is very clean and bed is extremely comfortable. This hotel is also very central which comes dead handy when wanting to do some activities overall recommend this hotel it’s stunning.

The staff were amazing. They did everything and more to make my stay easy. |From the lovely Concierge the happy porter and Miro who did room service who went above and beyond. I will definitely stay there again.|The room was immaculately clean

A return to this hotel for me after a year away, having stayed here many times before. It reminded me why I like this hotel so much, for both business and leisure stay. Well appointed, good size modern rooms. It boasts a good executive lounge and and a very good breakfast spread. Swimming pool is always nice for a quick workout swim. Diamond Hilton Honors staus was well acknowledged.
