Booked large scissor (not a standard one) for a day hire. Said on the phone the lads will be on site to start working at 8am on the day. Get a phone call from my lads saying no lift on site. Phoned Horizon and sent round the houses to be eventually told its on it way, after a few calls.
Lift arrived for a 1 day hire after lunch. Phoned back to complain as lads had been stood round since 8am, factory warehouse was partially shut down. By the time the lift arrived it was to late to complete the works. Food factory warehouse before Christmas can't be shut down for another day until after Christmas.
Complained yet been charged full amount, no apology and work still not done.
Not only £966 on a day's lift hire but also two engineers wages and still need to go back.
Stay well clear, con merchants.

We’ve been using Horizon Platforms for many years now, prior to starting to use Horizon we used many other companies, no company including nationwide come anywhere near the standard of reliable machinery Horizon supply, there excellent and always helpful customer service, always on time deliveries.
We wouldn’t even consider using anyone else regardless of the “deals” we get offered.

Visited Horizon Platforms to do a Scissor Lift training course. Modern, large facility, not far from the M62 Motorway.. Instructor was a decent bloke and we were all made to feel welcome. Nice afternoon spent there.

Very unprofessional customer service!!
I gave two stars as the machinery caused me no problems it was the humans who did. Otherwise it would have been 0 stars.
No communication, no quote as discussed then over charged at the finish.
When I tried to get credit for over charge on many occasions nobody got back to us when promised.
In particular Mr Chris Ellerington was useless.
I don’t like to put up bad reviews but felt I had to on this occasion.

Came to horizon platforms to do my IPAF . The bloke conducting the training was a top guy and made it feel more like a day out with friends rather than a test environment. Great company great staff
