Update: My son has now been attending the Karate club at Lympne for 8 years I think! He has steadily progressed through his gradings and is now a black belt. (Very proud dad!) He has been supported on his journey at every step by Shihan Trevor and has learnt SO much. The disciplines and structure within this Karate club have helped guide him into the incredible young man he is today. Doing Karate here has been a fun and effective way of learning skills he will carry through his life. He has gained confidence, made friends, taken part in competitions and displays and had a wonderful time at the Summer camps! I would go as far as saying this has been by far the best thing we did for our son.

A fantastic and friendly club! Held at Lympne village hall. Sensei Trevor is a marvelous instructor that can get the very best from the students with his incredible teaching style, he is ably assisted by Senpai David and Senpai Chani who both help out here and are loved by the younger students. All are welcomed regardless of age or experience. Open on Wednesday evenings, children's lessons are 17:30-18:30 and adult lessons are 18:30-20:00. My son loves going here and has been attending for three years.

I have been coming to Lympne karate for just over a year now and this is where I first started karate. When I first joined I was very nervous but they was all welcoming, helped improve my confidence and have such great instructors especially Shihan Trevor who has encouraged me and is patient with every student of the club. Highly recommend this place for all levels and abilities- grace 🙂

This club is where I started my Kyokushin karate journey about 10 years ago, and along with the other clubs in the organisation, sticking with it has been the best thing that I have done. I used to be quite a shy child, however training and learning hard here has given me the confidence, work ethic and a lot of my philosophies to start and run my own successful business. I don't know a much better place to learn how to become strong both in body and mind, learn discipline and respect and all round push yourself to the limit (both adults and children alike) like this club and organisation. If you're thinking of coming along or wanting to find something for your child/ren then I would highly recommend!
