I've stayed at The Knitting Hotel 5 times. It is a wonderful treat that I look forward to all year. I've learned to knit there, and spent fabulous fun days and evenings with brilliant women and amazing food.

Me and my mum share a room and always talk about how relaxing it is. I love looking out at the sea from bed, such an amazing experience.

At The Knitting Hotel I've spent the weekend retreat (Thursday afternoon - Monday morning) learning and practicing knitting, crochet, beaded knitting, knitting with wire, spinning, knitting a huge circular lace shawl and professional finishing techniques for knitted garments. A little slice of paradise!

Have stayed here 3 times now and already booked for next year - it’s become an annual post-Christmas treat for our group.

From the minute you arrive (very easily with the station just minutes away) you are made to feel so welcome and loved. The most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, delicious food, wonderful teaching and the friendliest hosts you could ask for.

It really is like a little slice of heaven and a haven from the real world. A true break from the reality of a busy NHS job and motherhood!

I have stayed at the knitting hotel several times and there’s a reason I keep going back. Belinda and Alan are warm and welcoming and this is truly a luxury retreat. I’ve learned loads on various workshops here and have always made new friends. Brenda is always on hand to help fix mistakes! There is always interesting conversation and nurture to be found at TKH. It’s where I go to fill my cup. Such a fab place to stay - 1000% recommend 💜

All of the negative reviews have been left by people who have never actually stayed here and should be removed. I have been to several weekend retreats here and have had an absolutely fabulous time. Belinda and Brenda are amazing teachers. They remain calm when helping even complete beginners and are always happy to help. Nicola cooks amazing food. We are regularly fed and watered every couple of hours and the homemade snacks are incredible. Belinda also sells absolutely gorgeous yarn. I have booked many more visits for 2024 and 2025 already. The trips are amazing for my mental health and give me the chance to get away from everything for a few days. The rooms are all decorated knitted themed and are gorgeous. Bathrooms are beautiful and the whole place is exceptionally clean. Would definitely recommend, if you can get a space!

My annual trips to The Knitting Hotel, ever since it opened, (and the occasional extra one if I can get there) are the highlight of my year. Hostess with the most, the wonderful knitting support whizz, fantastic chef, fabulous rooms and cosy comfy beds, views of the sea, supper at The Ivy after a costal train jaunt, and knitting and other fibre skills extended and enjoyed with fabulous tutors. And oh! the friendship and laughter for your stay makes it hard to tear yourself away. The best of times with brilliant people in a beautiful location. Love you all.

What am amazing place to go for relaxing while knitting or crocheting. All the staff are super lovely, caring, chatty, honest, delightful, helpful, and brilliant at guiding you with your craft projects. The food is brilliant and I have some allergies and they went out of there way to provide delicious meals. I've never eaten so well. The rooms are well laid out the beds are super comfy, they have lovely little gifts on the bed and waking up to the sea views, I couldn't ask for more. I have already booked my next stay and can't wait to see everyone again 😍

The Knitting Hotel is a knitter’s paradise. The accommodation is incredibly comfortable and I felt incredibly pampered when I stayed there. The food is absolutely delicious and so plentiful. Having time to sit and knit, and learn, with other knitters is such a treat. And both Belinda and Brenda are the most wonderful hosts. I can’t wait to stay with them again at some point.

I stayed for a knitting retreat last year. It was genuinely one of the best experiences ever. The interiors and rooms are amazing. The vibe of creativity and friendship are just brilliant. Belinda is an amazing host, Brenda provides fabulous support and the food and location are brilliant too. Highly recommended
