The place is a great building to visit during prayers. However, the call to prayer sounds so chilling during funeral prayers. I usually go there during funerals for my dead family members. The new funerary room is very small but a solemn place to visit.

Even though I don't live in Blackburn anymore, I still use Jamia as I said my Shahadah with imam Rashid. Even though I'm a revert, I was welcomed by everyone without judgement. Imam Rashid speaks a mixture of Arabic and English as some don't speak English. Imam Usman takes the second Namaz as an English speaker. Both are very good and helpfull. It's not the biggest Masjid but it's certainly one of the best, especially if it's someone thinking of converting/reverting. You'll be well looked after at Jamia Ghosia.
