I brought my 2 kids to JBBBA from Wilmslow. 7 year old boy and 6 year old girl.
We were the only family from outside the area and the kids did not know anybody. We were instantly made to feel welcome and the kids now have a large group of incredibly close friends. It's a special place filled with special people and the coaching team and front of house team are amazing

Every child and adult is supported and made to feel cared for.
From entering the Academy, being warmly greeted by Jim and Christine, who are super experienced in putting parents/carers at ease to the mats, where the atmosphere is well structured and the coaches are striving for high quality. They ensure they know each individual well and this supports their progression in every aspect of their development.
Parents/families cheer, clap and celebrate everyone’s achievements.
Jason and his team of coaches are positive role models who promote determination, respect and kindness to everyone.
These are the role models I want for my children.
Jason is incredibly experienced in supporting those with Special educational needs and disabilities and ensures the whole environment is warm, welcoming and thoughtful but also ensuring that each person is able reach their full potential.

Could not rate JBBBA enough. My oldest has been training for 3 years now and, at the age of 6, it's a testament to the coaches/staff that he's as enthusiastic now as he was on day 1 if not more so. Even his little brother who is to young to train enjoys going. A really nice, friendly atmosphere.

My 6 year old joined the academy at the beginning of the year. This was our 2nd attempt at a martial arts class with the first not working out after 6 weeks of him trying. Glad to say that was instantly not evident with JBBBA. He took to it instantly, most likely due to the instructors working so closely with the class ensuring he wasn't left out and was getting involved with all aspects. The instructors themselves are many and are all varied ages, which is great because it shows where the kids can get as they grow. The studio itself is very professionally equipped and looks the business as soon as you get in. Unlike the last academy, parents at JBBBA are encouraged to stay and watch your kids, especially because it gives you the chance to practice at home. There even a fully stocked gym in a room close by so parents can get a workout on the long classes. I've been so impressed with my son's growth throughout that I'm definitely joining for the adult classes starting from next year. I could honestly keep going on about how great they are but the best way is just to join them for a taster session. You will not be disappointed.

Today was the last straw. JBBA has some great coaches but today my kids left crying & dont want to return. If you get coached by Andrew, or Sam you will have a great time and get lots of encouragement to grow. The new coaches are learning & i hope they grow to. Jason does try & make it a family but it does not always feel like it. There are good opportunities for kids to grow & gain confidence but for mine the respect for their coach & mentor has been broke.
