We were here on a Sun holiday.
The site is small but clean and tidy. The van was clean and in fairly good condition. The bar/restaurant was a bit like a retirement home. Quite dated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The good was pretty good. We ordered a couple of pizzas and were very happy with them. The drinks at the bar seem pretty decent too and a fair price.
Can't really knock the site at all. I think if you were here for a sun holiday offer, like we were, or simply want a base for visiting friends/family or anything local, it's fine. I think for a proper holiday, you'd want somewhere a bit better. The sister site looked better, from the road.
So yea, not bad by any stretch, but not amazing. It served us perfectly fine for our weekend away.

I really wanted to give this place more stars but sadly it didn't live up to expectations.

First some positives:
Staff were friendly and helpful
The site was quiet
There is a nice little children's play area
Easy access to the beach

We stayed in what was described as 'gold' apartment for our accommodation but what we received was far from what we would consider as top quality. From outside the apartment looks lovely and is wonderfully spacious but it is very damp, largely down to the lack of ventilation within the property. This is unlikely an issue during the summer months but is in October. There's no window or extraction unit in the bathroom so the moisture spills out into the rest of the apartment. There was obvious evidence of damp on the doors and lower walls in all the rooms and there was a constant mildew smell.

Other than this major problem there were a few other minor issues which just makes this accommodation really lacking value for money:

The paint job in the bedrooms was awful and you could see where they had painted over the previous magnolia as the roller marks stopped near the edges and they hadn't bothered to do the edges with a brush. The paint was peeling from the wall in the bedroom.
The toilet seat had no lid which raised hygiene concerns.
2 of the doors had been planed in a really bad way that the edges were wavy and looked really unprofessional.
None of the door hinges worked correctly and it was really difficult to get rhe bathroom door to close.
There was no hooks anywhere so there was absolutely nowhere to hang coats or towels etc.
A dishwasher was provided but did not work.

Would I stay here again? Possibly, but definitely not in this accommodation.

Fantastic place for a relaxing holiday.site is extremely well maintained. Staff are lovely can't do enough for you and very knowledgeable about the local area. Our caravan had everything we needed for a great holiday. Our third visit to this site and we will be back again. Even the club house is dog friendly. There are woods with a pathway in from the site which is well maintained to walk your dog in and the dog friendly beach is opposite to the entrance to the holiday park.

Staff (on the whole) were lovely. A lady who worked the bar/reception was so friendly & was chatting and interacting with my children. The caravan itself was very poor, it wasn’t cleaned properly carpet was ripped leading from the lounge/kitchen. We had an incident with a member of staff on the Saturday evening prompting us to leave the site early on the Sunday morning. I called the manager to address this - who was very nice about the situation. He started promising all sorts such as money back or a free stay - of which I never asked for nor expected it was simply feedback on such a shocking interaction with a staff member. Since then I’ve had zero contact for over 3 weeks, again
It’s irrelevant as I’m not after anything for free but it’s just poor customer service from a manager to never contact us back. The site overall isn’t child friendly and unfortunately we had 2 small kids, their sister site which we did visit seems a lot more suitable for what we needed & I would definitely book a stay there in future. It was cheap & cheerful so I suppose you get what you pay for & maybe due to the time of year we went it was due to have maintenance.

We spent a week here, returning on the 6th September. Combe Martin Beach is a quiet site with no arcades etc, but the bar has a pool table and games. There isn't a shop on site, but it's very close to the village if you need groceries, there's a wonderful farm shop in the village too, which sells wonderful, affordable and sustainable meat, veg and more. Our two bed silver caravan was well equipped and clean, it was comfortable too.The food on site is good, we had an excellent homemade lasagne in the bar and takeaway handmade pizza in the caravan. The garden outside the bar has a wonderful view of the sea and countryside. All the staff are friendly and helpful. If you like walking, you won't be disappointed, 'Little Hangman' walk is particularly lovely. If you like a peaceful site, in beautiful surroundings you'll like it here

Good park near the sea and quite hilly. Caravans are clean and have everything we needed. The park is well kept and quiet. There's a bar with good views overlooking the sea and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely would go there again.

Stayed here for a long weekend. It’s a bit dated, lovely place tho. Staff are friendly and helpful. They even brought fresh bedding to the caravan with no hesitation. They have an outdoor swimming pool. All caravans are located at the very top of the hill so if you’re not good with walking this place is not for you. Unless you drive down to the town etc which literally is a small walk. Other than that it’s a nice small compact place. Ilfracombe harbour is 4mile down the road and it’s a stunning place in the day with the right weather and for sunset. 2 ice creams and a bottle of water £10 quite pricy if you ask me. Avoid munchies takeaway near by absolutely shocking food. Good thing is most places are dog friendly

I purchased this holiday via hoseasons, this place was advertising a heated outdoor pool, so I thought my youngest would love this, however the pool was freezing, even the lifeguard said its not heated, as a result I got him out after 5 minutes. We actually lasted 2 days there and I drove home, this is the most disappointing uk holiday we have ever been on, absolutely rubbish entertainment.do yourself a favour and avoid this place.also to mention the arcade is terrible, no 2p machines, there were two fruit machines out of order, and a play area only suitable for a 2 year old. And to top it off my youngest had a chest infection following that freezing pool. So I contacted hoseasons and they fobbed me off. Pathetic.
