Our two daughters have been an active part of the KBDA family for over a decade, attending weekly ballet, modern, tap, acro and contemporary classes. They have also performed in festivals and competitions at regional, national and international level - even wining a gold medal as part of Team England at the Dance World Cup! We have loved every minute of our journey with KBDA and will always be grateful for the support of Karen and her team of teachers. Our daughters have grown into confident and amazing young people because of the opportunities KBDA has given them. We are so proud of the confidence, poise, resilience, work ethic and friendships that dance has given them, and that will be with them all their lives. Thank you Karen, for being a creative genius, and so amazing at what you do!

Our daughter has been attending KBDA dance classes for five years, starting at 3 years old. The passion, support and skill of her dance teachers has filled our daughter with enthusiasm and it has been wonderful to see her confidence grow over the years from a shy little girl to the confident girl she is now.
She enjoys Tap, Modern, Ballet, Musical Theatre and Greek lessons with her KBDA teachers.

My daughter joined KBDA just before Lockdown and has been dancing with them ever since. Initially joining the nursery classes with Miss Bex we've recently now started extra week day classes with the wider teaching team.
The teaching team and senior dancers have past on their joy of dancing to my daughter. She loves all her lessons - ballet, jazz, modern and tap.
KBDA is a great dancing family for my daughter - I feel that she's supported, encouraged, guided but ultimately they ensure she's having fun. She's made some great friends outside of school and can't wait to see where dancing takes her.

So much to say about KBDA I'm not sure where to start!

My daughter has attended KBDA now for 5 years, and we couldn't have picked a better dance school for her. Starting with the foundation ballet & modern classes aged four, she has gradually moved through the classes, progressing to Grade 2 Ballet, Grade 3 Modern & Tap, Jazz, and dipping her toe into Musical Theatre & Classical Greek. My daughter was still well-supported by Miss Karen through the pandemic, and nurtured when she nervously came back to classes after an almost two-year break. She has grown so much since returning and has been given some incredible opportunities, performing in the 2023 Showcase and most recently taking part in her SPA Ballet exam & achieving a Distinction, as well as performing as part of the Festival team, achieving excellent results but most importantly living her best life doing what she loves on stage. I couldn't wish for a better experience or praise the school or the incredible teaching enough. My youngest daughter (aged 2) will soon dip her toes into dancing with KBDA and I too have been having lots of fun at their brand new Adult Tap classes!

Thank you KBDA for all you do and continue to do for all of your students! We hope to continue our journey for a long long time yet!

My daughter LOVES her dance classes, they are creative and fun but disciplined. She first started ballet as a very shy and timid 4-year-old. Miss Karen and her wonderful teachers have nurtured her and helped build her confidence over the 4 years she has been dancing with KBDA.
In taking the time to get to know her, the team have guided her and helped work through her nerves, recognise her strengths and see her potential; so much so she has recently passed her Grade 1 RAD ballet exam and even performs solo on stage - something I never thought I’d see!
Lockdown didn’t stop them, KBDA has put on a fantastic selection of classes and workshops to keep the kids dancing and doing what they love.
I thoroughly recommend this dance school.

My daughter started at KBDA doing acro and she realised just how much she loved to dance. With the help of very kind/knowledgeable staff she has increased her classes to cover a range of core subjects. Karen has helped her dance her way through lockdown, pass her RAD exams (based mainly on zoom training) and guided her through her very first audition experience. I can't recommend KBDA highly enough.

Amazing dance school, that supports our daughter from 4 year old beginner, to become a talented, compition winning, and beautiful performer of 16 years old. The teachers are knowledgeable and very supportive, promoting dance techniques along side performance and personal growth.
