I personally did not have a great experience with Reg, we did driving lessons from October 2023 - my test in February 2024 which I failed first time with 2 minors and 1 major. He then wouldn’t rebook another test in with me til after June as he said I wasn’t ready for my test and then tried to pass me onto a different instructor!

I then passed my test just 5 weeks later starting with a completely new instructor and in a new car. He instantly picked me up on lots of parking mistakes from techniques which I had been taught previously with Reg.

I have now been passed for almost 12 weeks and would still be paying Reg for lessons if I’d have stayed with him! So I do not recommend

I couldn’t flaw my experience with Reg. I was fully convinced that I’d never learn to drive after a horrific experience when I was younger. After moving to the area and family being far away, I decided to give it another go and found Reg through positive reviews on Google. Not a bad word to say - he was patient, extremely reassuring, a calm but clear teacher and a lovely companion on our drives. We had amazing chats every weekend during lessons. I’m delighted to be driving but will miss our weekly lessons. If you are a nervous driver or need reassurance on the road, Reg will be the perfect teacher!

I was convinced I wouldn't be able to gain the skills needed to drive, I was overly anxious and had a bad time when I previously tried to drive many years ago.
I told Reg this at the begining and he understood completely!. He was so patient, calm and as well as teaching me the physical skills of driving he taught me the thinking behind it all. How to use safe judgement and make the right decisions which is essential for an anxious driver.
I passed first time with 1 minor which is incredible and I feel safe which is hugely important for me. A great instructor and a lovely person to just chat to. Would recommend to anyone, you will realise how good he is when you pass 👍

Our experience with Reg wasn't great. A bit of a waste of time and money to be completely honest.
Initially I think he was reluctant to take on my partner as a new client.
But with Reg, who only seems to respond via text message mades it extremely difficult to communicate with him.

She had several lessons with him but they started getting more sporadic as communication got bad. He told her that he couldn't teach her for a few weeks because he needed to attend an evening class. But then communication stopped completely and he won't respond to us.

We understand that my partner is a nervous driver, but most learners are.
She's had several lessons with a new instructor now and she has come on leaps and bounds. The instructor pulled her up on bad driving habits straight away, which Reg never mentioned.

Wished we had never bothered with Ltdautomatic now.
