Tywardreath school love using LBQ. It is a fantastic resource that we have been using for our children. It has provided us with the opportunity to set children bespoke interventions. Saving time on resources and enabling us to focus on children without adult support - which in the current climate is invaluable. You can see the children’s progress immediately and from this you are able to set individual tasks for any child.

Purbrook Jnr School -
We have just begun our journey with Learning By Questions. Having heard of LbQ through networking opportunities with local schools, we were encouraged to sign up for a trial. Following a detailed online demonstration, the year 6 team were quickly set up and set to work in the classroom. The teachers have said that they can take swift action at the point of learning. They are already seeing a difference in the depth of learning. The children love it so far - the only thing they do not like is what the teacher hits 'pause'! We are looking forward to seeing how LbQ can make a difference in year 6 before a school wide roll out.

Learning by Questions is a great Resource for schools to have. There is no marking by the teacher and the feedback is instant. I use Learning by Questions with Year six children every morning for Reading Comprehension. The children love it. They say,' Miss are we going to use LBQ today?" When they complete their classwork they ask for tasks to be set. One boy's remark one morning, "Miss can you see my scores? I am very clever they are mostly green."

An excellent resource for retrieval and for assessing understanding. My class at Cove Junior School all groaned when the session ended or I paused an activity! If that's not a good endorsement showing pupil engagement, I don't know what is!

I love LBQ and I use it everyday across several year groups. It's such a fantastic resource and it really takes some of the pressure off when planning lessons. The children are always excited when I tell them we will be using LBQ. If you haven't tried it I recommend you do, you won't be disappointed!

Absolutely brilliant concept and delivery. Lbq has revolutionised the way we work in class. It’s easy to deliver tailor-made learning for each single member of the class using the SATS Springboard facility. Not only are the children receiving work that starts at their point of need but I am saving hours in marking, assessing and finding next steps. Following the three week trial, the rest of KS2 are now using Lbq to deliver a large chunk of their maths, reading and grammar curriculum. One of the other big factors is that children can work at their own pace and it seems to extend and challenge everyone. The hints are great and it is like having an extra pair of hands in the classroom. The close link to White Rose Maths syllabus means that we have not had to change the way we teach, just the way we complete the tasks. I think in 34 years of teaching this is the best use of tech I’ve come across. I can only imagine where it will go in the future!

We have only been using this platform for a few months but both the children and myself love it. The instant feedback is great and the scaffolding within the questions allows the children to become more independent. So far we have used LBQ as part of a lesson, to revise previously taught lessons and to consolidate lessons that some children find tricky. Not only can you access the materials for your year group, but you have full access to all other year groups, which allows you to differentiate where needed. After every activity, you can download a repost that lets you know how the children have done. This was useful to use as an assessment tool and allowed the children to see which areas they needed to work on.
