This club is just. Like a really big family it’s friendly, supportive and welcoming. Les teaching style is very inclusive I have ms and struggle with movement an awful lot but Les includes me when I train by showing me ways I can join in that I can do. Les gets to know each students capabilities really well and quickly. Les in courageous is that no matter what we must relax . All the students help each other physically during training and after physically emotionally and mentally. It’s the best experience I have ever had. I will be back to training asap.

I've attended quite a few of Les Bubka's seminars and it is always a joy to train with him. His teaching is inclusive and adaptive which, as someone with a disability, I value highly. I also appreciate his focus on martial arts training to benefit mental health, and like to support KFMH as it is a very deserving organisation.

Les Bubka is an excellent, experienced Martial Artist and instructor (being an instructor requires additional skills in teaching). Having followed his content for some time, and having attended a full-day seminar with him, I was very impressed with his skill and ability. He brings to the dojo a brilliant mix of humour, hard training, technical skill, and a humility which many instructors can lack these days. This all comes together to leave a positive, constructive, and endearing impression. I'm sure we'll be booking him for a seminar at our own club at some point in the near future.

Been training with Les over six years now and still feels like my first lesson, always different and changing techniques not repetitive at all. Great atmosphere in the lessons very open in different opinions, technic and students ability and always felt safe. Highly recommended training here with Les very patient teacher that gets the best out of all his students with traditional and modern karate classes to his number one rule, don't get stressed.

During lockdown Les opened up Zoom classes. As my local classes were closed for a while I was lucky to be able to take part in Les' lessons. Even when 1 to 1 training became available I continued with Les as I enjoyed the class so much. Although I have studied a different style, it didn't matter to Les, and it was wonderful to be able to learn something different in a really friendly group. Les is very welcoming and will always adapt training to allow for any injuries or abilities. I would recommend his classes to anyone who was interested in Karate.

I’m a newbie and have really enjoyed my first couple of months of training with Les. He is very understanding and takes everything at the pace you need, slowing down and explaining things at my own rate of understanding, which is very helpful. I’ve also enjoyed learning from more experienced students. Every session is a mixture of people and experiences and you pick up a lot from those around you. Every session we spar, which is good fun and has been a steep learning curve for me. Les is always there to support your development and help out when you’re unsure.
