We spent a week sailing with Martyn and his team and it was an absolute pleasure. We took our first sailing attempts with Martyn and he made it so easy and fun to learn. Because of the small group size (just the my sister and I) he was able to teach and coach exactly the way that was helpful for us. Therefore, we felt like we both had a steep learning curve. We were able to sail different sailing boats based on the progress we made and the weather, which taught us additional skills and teamwork. The theoretical lessons were kept targeted to our learning progress at the beginning or/and at the end of our lessons.

We booked on short notice and Martyn squeezed us in quite spontaneously. We were even able to change the times around because one day the weather was too bad for sailing.

Martyn and team, thank you so much for this great experience and we hope to join you for more sailing very soon!

Contacted Martyn about Paddle Boarding and booked a two hour lesson. When I arrived saw his son Ben for the lesson using their equipment including a wetsuit. Straight onto the water no faffing around and completed the two hour course without falling in, testament to the professional tuition I received. I did get in the water just to be shown how to get back on the board easily. If you’re like I was and are thinking of trying it I highly recommend these friendly helpful guys and the beach here is perfect for paddle boarding. Absolutely top notch.

Hired a SUP and twin kayak this afternoon from the friendly and helpful staff. They even had a machine to rapidly inflate an iSUP if you bring one with you. Took the owners advice and paddled up the river to a beautiful pub for a pint and nibbles in the sunshine. On the way back we had the wind and tide gently pushing us towards Loe Beach. A very enjoyable summer holiday afternoon, thank you.

What a day! For first timers we were a bit unsure what to expect but we were greeted by really friendly and helpful staff, we were signed up, kitted out and on the water enjoying ourselves in 5 minutes flat. Beautiful area to experience from a different perspective, cant wait to come again.

Excellent service after we arrived without booking in advance (and during the summer holidays). We hired a double kayak and two paddle boards as a family of 4 plus a dog! We were soon out on the water after some friendly, basic instructions and sorting out our equipment. Great prices and only charged for the time we were out on the water. Would highly recommend and we will be back in the future. Also made use of the great little cafe next to the hire centre.

We hired a rowing boat for one day and then the Agnes Evelyn for another from Loe Beach Watersports. Who were excellent, highly recommend for those visiting the area to see the sights from the water. We even managed some fishing! Thanks again

When others had limited or no availability for paddle board and kayak hire, Loe Beach WC was helpful and similarly priced to other operators. Lovely bay, small car park but you can easily park in the church car park at the top of the hill and take the short walk down to the bay.
