Whilst overall we were pleased with based on cost; great location, parking, lovely kitchen/lounge, comfy bed, we had some issues with our room (Frome). Whilst the bedding appeared to be freshly washed, there were some questionable stains on my sheet and my friend's pillowcase. There was no cord on the roller blind so we had to stand on tiptoe to manually roll it up. And I never got a hot shower on any of the three mornings; the water was always just lukewarm. Luckily, it was hot weather as it would have been awful had it been winter

Not very good. 3m x 2m room we had. Badly organised. It's basically student accommodation we are told. More of a community centre than accommodation. Clean. Close to town. Quiet. Had to parking 15min walk away. Hotel car park was full.£90/night.

I attended a course in Ludlow Mascall centre for 6 Thursdays 10am-12:30pm . Firstly I parked my car in the grounds, registered my number plate with reception to avoid a parking violation ticket and entered my course. The room was light , airy and comfortable, my enjoyment of the course was enhanced by the setting. Facilities were freely available making my tenure more comfortable. All in all , a very pleasant experience.

This is my third time staying at the Mascall Centre. It is a cheap and cheerful option, compared to other accommodation providers in Ludlow. I always feel comfortable and safe in this environment, as it is very well run and maintained. I like the added bonus of free water from the dispenser at the top of the stairs. I was staying in the adequately appointed single room.||||||Location is just a 10 minute walk from the train station and less to walk to the town. The building is set back from the road, so is quiet, especially at night. Plenty of on-site parking is available too.||Since my last visit, they have installed a fully functioning kitchen / dining / TV room, where a lounge area used to be. This really is an added bonus and I made use of it during my stay.||||I was able to leave my bag with them after check ||out, so I could go next door for a big, tasty, full English breakfast (Athena restaurant) and have a final wander round the town and the open air makers market.||||Disliked · I feel the hand and bath towels could do with being replaced with better quality ones.

For a 1 night stay OK! unfortunately we were there for 3 nights. The twin room was adequate but small with no room for a table to work on or a comfortable chair. Poor hanging space. Thankfully I had taken extra coat hangers with us. There is a kettle but no hairdryer. Iron can be borrowed. Our biggest gripe is the shower with an opening of only 36 cms not suitable for anyone over a size 16 !!! and a step height of 30cms. Due to my mobility I was not able to use it. Yes!! I could have booked the disabled room but I prefer to leave that available for wheel chair users when a room with a shower will suffice.||This accommodation is a hostel not a hotel.||There is a kitchen with crockery and cutlery, and can be used freely.

Location is perfect, being less than 10 minutes walk to the train station and less than 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Although situated on a residential / main road, my stay was suprisingly quiet.||||My single room (named Perry / disability accessible room) was spacious and clean. It was basic and comfortable, excellent value for money and exceeded my expectations - I had only paid £33.50 per night, which is super cheap for Ludlow.||In the room was hot drink making facilities, inc complimentary tea and coffee, free toiletries, bedside table, with lamp, large (adjustable) radiators in bedroom and bathroom, adequate amount of plug sockets, night light in bathroom.||||In the communal area there was access to a fridge, first aid box, spare towels, toilet paper, masks, hairdryer, paper cups, plastic cutlery, tea and coffee, etc, and free water (via large water bottle stations located upstairs and downstairs).||||Security was excellent and I felt safe throughout my stay. You also have access to an onsite / live in caretaker, should any problems arise. There is an outdoor seating area within an inner, private courtyard.||I would most definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it to budget conscious travellers - you will not be disappointed.||||Bill's Kitchen is housed within the same building for breakfast / brunch / lunch. It is open between 8 - 3 pm. I didn't have chance to eat here, so cannot comment further, except to say the menu looked varied / reasonably priced (for locally sourced ingredients).||||This is not a hotel, but a community centre offering accommodation. Therefore, there was not a TV in my room. However, there is a large, wall mounted TV in the communal area.

Great place to stay for me and a cycling pal. We just needed somewhere quiet and clean and good value so that we could recover wouldn’t imagine It’s any good for a romantic weekend, but for our purposes it was excellent
