As a Buddhist I am biased 😉 and loved that place. The building, cafe and the park are amazing. People are however the biggest asset of Manjushri. If you are a tourist or a pilgrim you will enjoy cheerful and loving atmosphere.

Whether it’s a quick visit to explore or to attend a meditation session, this is a wonderful place to calm the soul.
We attended the weekday 15min session as well as the Sunday morning session (75mins). The Sunday session was followed by coffee at the popular World Peace cafe which also had a large range of sweet and savoury delights.
Then a walk through the woods to the beach is a great way to complete your visit.

Highly recommended for the newbies to the experienced in Buddhism.

Unique place to visit
Didn't have the opportunity to visit all of the site due to having the dog
Free parking available in the overflow park for at least 40 cars
Plenty of paths throughout the area to explore also to explore the surrounding areas and buildings which have plenty of culture

It's an absolutely stunning and peaceful location. The grounds are beautiful and historic. Open dawn till dusk, you can even walk down to the beach. The World Peace Café is lovely, and it was glorious to be sat outside, enjoying the tranquillity of the gardens and surrounded by various visiting pups and their families.

A lovely shop with welcoming and friendly service.

I was lucky enough to catch the Wednesday lunchtime meditation taster in the temple itself. It was wonderful and just what I needed. A beautiful visit, looking forward to my next already.

What a delight. Joined in with a meditation in the Buddhist centre, so many free books, talks and resources. Reasonably priced souvenirs or gifts in gift shop, group of 32 accommodated without pre booking, such beautiful artefacts also art in Buddhist temple

Absolute fabulous place to visit. It was not very big to walk around but very pleasant gardens and a glorious beach, nice little cafe area for a quick bite to eat or drink.

I love this place. Coffee and cake from the centre coffee shop and a walk through the beautiful woodland to emerge onto the bay.
I usually visit the beautiful Buddha that sat in the entrance hall and was surprised to find him missing.
On enquiring where he was I was told that he is now in a private collection.....which didn't feel like a Buddhist thing to do. I think a lot of people will be disappointed that he is gone.
