Haven't yet managed to attend my course. I had to pay months in advance for a creative writing course that was supposed to run from 9/01/23 to 20/3/23... I received a text mid dec to say it has been postponed and will start on the 30/01/23... Now 4 days before it is due to start I receive another text to say it is postponed and will not start until 20/02/23. It will now run much later into the year and I will miss at least one session, which has already been paid for, due to being on holiday. It's disgusting.. not even an explanation given. I'm starting to wonder whether the course will actually ever run or if it's just a money making scam.

regularly visit the adult education centre at Rochester with the people I support ,while there they attend arts and crafts classes for supported learning, this is a painting that was done today 21-2-23 the teacher there is very lovely and really encourages the students to try new thing.

I was supposed to do a writing course here and it was cancelled 3 days before running. I then signed up for an Art Appreciation course ( 2018)a few months later. It was delayed by two weeks. So, I attended on the correct new start date only for the teacher to tell me that unfortunately the course was not running yet. The session I had turned up to was a class from the Ist group being rolled over from a previous cancelled one due to bad weather. I was ok with that until I found out the group still had yet another session to do before the Easter holidays. This would mean that my course would not start until the 18th April when it should have started on the 7th March! The times being changed, I was not able to attend this course now due to other commitments so have been refunded the money which was sent out a week later and by cheque. Cheque ! This means I will have waited over 2 weeks for a refund when I paid by direct debit. I was not told at any time by front of house that my course was postponed and the group still had 2 more sessions to run. I was left embarrassed. They even said it was likely the course after Easter might not run due to low numbers. When I turned up, there was only one other student there and a very apologetic teacher. Her teaching was excellent however and I enjoyed the class very much. What a pity! The organisation of this college is dreadful. No communication, no information or thought for me as the paying customer. Their poor approach has really put me off studying here.

I do the yoga with Peter on a Thursday afternoon. What a lovely relaxing hour and a half , along with the hard work beforehand!! I have also joined the library situated in the hub building
