I have been riding weekly at Moorview for the last few years now and they have been nothing but exemplary the entire time. My lessons are with Vicki and not only is she a wonderful teacher that has adapted to me and the way that I learn, but she is a kind, caring, considerate and honest person. I look forward to every lesson with her because she is always finding new ways to challenge me and regularly gives me a confidence boost in my ability, whilst still finding ways to improve my skill and technique. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming, and on the occasion I have been unable to attend my regular lesson slot have always accommodated me at a different time so that I don’t have to miss my lesson for the week. The horses are very well cared for and the yard is always kept to a clean, high standard, including both arenas. I cannot recommend this school enough, it is truly a privilege to ride here.

I’m disappointed with the customer service at Moorview. Over the past six months, I visited three times. During my first two visits, I felt ignored and unattended. On my final visit, I finally managed to speak with someone about lessons, but was told to check the website for details. I've also called multiple times and sent a text, only to receive automated responses. Having visited various riding schools before, I’ve never encountered such an unwelcoming atmosphere. This experience has put me off taking lessons here, and I find it truly disappointing.

I cannot believe how welcoming all the staff and owners actually are. The teaching techniques are absolutely superb. As a parent whose child has lost all her confidence, I can not stress how well these instructors connect with the children on lessons and how they help them to develop in both confidence and level of riding. The communication between the staff and the parents is remarkable. The children learn things every single day whilst under the supervision of their staff. Your children get to experience everything possible in the equestrian world from : grooming, tacking up and mucking out to doing handy pony and mounted games for Halloween but also equestrian competitions within the premises. The time and effort these staff put into making your experience with horses the best it could possible be. The Livery service is superb too this is coming from a person whose daughter has just bought her own horse from the riding school and now has her stabled at Moorview, they could not do anymore to make sure you and your horse is well looked after. Personally I believe if you are looking to find the perfect riding school for your child or you I promise you will NOT find any place better.

After having a dreadful experience at another Equestrian centre that shall be left unnamed, and our daughters confidence shattered.
We are delighted by the way all the staff
and owners at Moorview Equestrian Centre have welcomed and taught our daughter back to a very high level. The teaching techniques are outstanding, the communication between staff, the children and parents is at a very high level.
She is learning every day, to the extent of now owning her own horse, which is stabled at Moorview Equestrian.
The staff offer so much advice and guidance, nothing is true much trouble for them.
They dedicate their time, and put evens on for the kids, horse shows, handy pony games at Halloween and Christmas. Pony Club is also available.
If your thinking of getting your child into horse riding, I can highly recommend Moorview Equestrian Centre.

As someone who moved back from the UAE, myself and my cousin have been trying to find a riding school for us to continue learning. We have been put off completely with this centre with their inability to show a welcoming attitude. Rather than addressing my cousins review/feedback, they have instead coincidentally posted 5 star reviews that have all occurred in the same time frame knowing that there last review was a year ago. Do better.

In response to Moorview's feedback regarding the negative comments: It’s clear there’s no record of my daughters and nieces riding at your farm because you didn’t provide us the opportunity to book due to your inability to arrange a date. We said visits, not riding classes. However, you do have record of my daughters text providing you the relevant information, you did not respond nor mention anything about booking an appointment to visit. It’s frustrating to hear you say there’s no record of bookings when they have sent you a text showing their availability, which aligns with the slots you mentioned were open. You have simply chosen to ignore that. It’s interesting that you mention appointment bookings specifically, as your colleague advised us to check the website for prices or to call you. During our first visit to the farm, one staff member told us to wait, but she never returned, so we ended up leaving. As the owner, it's important to consider feedback rather than dismiss it and respond with “there is no record of you riding with us.” While Moorview is a larger business, my daughter have fond memories of their experience at Earnsdale Riding Centre, where the staff were consistently supportive and welcoming.

My experiences at Moorview have been brilliant both in a personal and a professional capacity.

My daughter has now attended group and private lessons, pony club, show days and riding clinics here for around four years. Her confidence, knowledge and experience has gone from strength to strength.

In a professional capacity I have brought a group of special educational needs pupils to weekly session on the Changing Lives Through Horse Programme accredited by the British Horse Society. Through this programme we saw our pupils develop a range of skills which would not have been as successful in the traditional school setting. They gained not only horsemanship skills but developed communication skills, team work and confidence, along with the therapeutic benefits of working with horses.

The instructors are very experienced, friendly and knowledgeable and work to the needs of riders.

I would highly recommend Moorview for riding lessons for individuals and for schools looking for a programme to support an alternative curriculum provision.

Reading these comments has really put me off committing to this place. As an avid rider with 10 years of experience I’ve been searching for a welcoming and accommodating club i can confidently join however these comments state that this place is otherwise. I have tried calling countless times for enquiries and never manage to get through to this team. Overall poor service from the team.
