My Learning room has been very effective with my son and his additional learning for GSCE maths. The process was friendly and easily set up. Amer at Learning room spoke with me and after giving details of my son, his personality and requirements she set up a 10 minute teams call with a tutor she felt would work best with my son. I must say the paring of the tutor Leo and my son was spot on, Leo has done an amazing job so far, my son enjoys his learning, feels more confident and also finds Leo explains the work and math questions in a much more effective way that it is more easily absorbed. My son has already increased his mock grade in a short period of time. I would highly recommend My Learning room and also must add it is a service that is affordable.

I searched for a tutor and found Amer for some help with my daughters eleven plus. She worked with my daughter weekly and was able to find holes in her existing knowledge that she filled to enable my daughter to pass her eleven plus with flying colours.
Amer has a very nurturing way and my daughter found they was she taught easy to easy to understand and the weekly homework allowed her to progress even further.
I can highly recommend Amer if you want to give your child that additional help during a really stressful period.

I have weekly physics lessons with Nida and so far it's been amazing. She explains topics well and makes it easy to understand. The lessons are flexible enough to do other material as well like revision, exam questions or other subjects completely. The power point slides shown have easy to follow notes and diagrams and are tailored to the curriculum of the exam board you follow. It's been really useful and Nida has been a great teacher.

My Learning Room is so much more than just a tutoring company!

The one on one service is fantastic and the best experience I've encountered across the many tutoring companies we have tried (and not made much progress with).
We were concerned about our son's progress at school and wanted to give him some extra help to ensure he can achieve his potential and open a few doors. We felt his school wasn't offering enough as he's a bright boy and capable of more. After failing to be convinced by a few other companies including a local tutor, we came across My Learning Room. We initially started with online GCSE Maths lessons after a very encouraging chat with Amer who was great to deal with. She listened and it was clear she really cared right from the start. The level of tutoring was impressive and we saw improvements within a short space of time. Knowledge on the curriculum was excellent and they focussed on key areas combined with tailored exam practise.

We added online GCSE English and Science lessons and again the quality of online tutoring was clear to see, all tutors were very personable and helped build my son's confidence along with his knowledge of these subjects. A patient approach is what was required along with some key advice and techniques; My Learning Room delivered this exceptionally well. It wasn't long before his progress was noticed at school and he was placed in a higher set.

My son achieved 8's & 9's across the board. We were simply overjoyed!

I genuinely feel this wouldn't have been possible without Amer and the team. We were given advice on further studies, subjects to take and the grades required going forward. My son's confidence has grown so much over these last 2 years and we no longer worry as much as we used to. It was truly a blessing to come across these guys and the consistent positive feedback from the school, exam results and general progress in him as an individual has been such a bright note over these last couple of years.

Both Dillon and Abby have really helped my daughter in preparation for her GCSE’s. She has just completed her mocks and all the content they have taught her has helped massively for these. Both have also given her the confidence and belief to strive in improving on her potential. Amer has also been extremely helpful in organising the lessons and adjusting the lessons to suit our needs. My daughter Nia has been tutored by Amer since she was in Primary School. She achieved amazing grades for her 11+ and SATS which was mostly attributable to the support she received from her. She is now in year 10 and is being tutored for her GCSE Maths by Amer who is ever so lovely and patient. My daughter absolutely loves her to bits and looks forward to her lessons on Sundays.
