Joe’s group sessions are great. Tailored to all ages, abilities, shapes and sizes. They can be challenging or easy depending on your goals and mood. Joe is knowledgeable and encouraging but never pushy.
As a PT Joe provides positive goals and is very easy to get along with. Again he is quietly encouraging.
I have been doing Joe’s group sessions for over a year now and I am the strongest and most toned I have ever been (I am 43 and attend twice a week). Joe has recently helped me with some recuperation exercises for my hip to keep me running and I am so grateful for his time and guidance. I would recommend Joe’s sessions to anyone.

I've never liked normal gym environments and I've always struggled with self-motivation to get fit by my own means. I decided having a session planned each week and some support from a personal trainer might help me stick with it, and here I am still training with Joe well over a year after I first signed up.

Joe's training style is supportive and encouraging, like having a friend who's always in your corner helping you improve no matter what kind of week you've had.
I'm a woman in my early 30's with quite a lot of social anxiety, so I had my reservations about signing up for a personal trainer at first, but Joe has always been really professional and reassuring. These sessions have even boosted my confidence outside of the gym, so I'm now really glad I took that leap and gave it a shot.

The venue is unlike any other gym I've seen; it's a modern gym with high-end equipment but housed in a beautiful old village chapel.
The one-to-one sessions focus on improving your habits and some useful mindset tools, as well as a full workout. The workout itself is the perfect amount of challenging, tailored to your fitness level and requirements, and it gets you results.

I can wholeheartedly say that I recommend mypremcoach to anyone looking to kick-start or maintain their fitness journey. Joe offers taster sessions as well for anyone who would like to try it out before signing up.
It really helps having someone with such a wealth of knowledge and experience to support you with your fitness goals, and I can think of nobody better than Joe 🙂

I really needed some time out, so booked to stay in Culmstock for a week in Jan 2025 on my own. Mypremcoach was next door to where I was staying. Joe is a great guy. He spent time understanding what training I was doing and what I wanted to achieve. I ended up having four one-on-one sessions during the week. Great physical workout and a much needed mental workout and timeout. Certainly recommend Joe.

Joe has been really helpful and supportive with my weight loss journey. I did 1:1 with him and every week was a different set so it kept it interesting. He was really supportive through the sessions and also outside when I had questions about diet plans. He made losing weight fun and easy.

I have been training with Joe since April on a 1:1 basis. The sessions have been fantastic and completely changed my view of exercise, they are something I look forward to each week and cannot believe the progress I have made and how quickly my fitness levels have improved. As a result of my sessions with Joe I have lost 5kg fat across my body and my body measurements have reduced significantly too, more importantly I feel better, have more energy and am seeing muscle definition develop. Every session is different with Joe, he delivers a varied work out every week and as a result I am also learning the different ways to use the gym equipment and weights. Joe's approach focuses on making small incremental changes to build better habits, as a result I feel like I have been able to fit the training and healthy habits around my schedule, without making huge sacrifices in my day to day life and am now able to make healthier and informed decisions which contribute to my overall goals. Finally, the gym itself is fantastic, Joe has a huge variety of different equipment and no two sessions are ever the same! Everything is kept in impeccable condition as Joe cleans everything thoroughly between each session. I have no hesitations in highly recommending Joe and look forward to continuing my training with him. Thanks Joe!

Joe is a delight! I’ve never liked typical gym environments - and all that comes with them - and has certainly lost confidence and fitness post-baby. Joe makes everything fun and feel achievable, whilst pushing you as much as you need. He carefully looked after me through illness, an operation and recovery. I hate to say it, but he actually runs classes that made me like coming to the gym! His classes are positive, supportive, fun, silly and have a real sense of camaraderie. Spotlessly clean, lovely facilities and building, fun music, carefully placed fans and AC!!! Can’t recommend highly enough!

From the start Joe has made me feel comfortable in a gym and is always friendly, approachable and professional. He constantly surprises me with the variety of exercises and tailors them to my current ability. It's amazing how much I can do with his subtle but persistent encouragement. Who knew you could build up a sweat without using a running machine, cross trainer or rowing machine? They're all there if you want them but I can't use them and Joe has shown me how to use my own bodyweight and weights to improve my fitness and tone my muscles. Thank you Joe!

Joe is doing a great job of keeping me motivated to turn up ( not an easy task!). He pushes hard enough that you feel you are improving but not so hard you can’t cope. The gym is immaculately clean and he gives 100% attention to the exercises throughout the session. A great service.
