We went on a very foggy day, so missed the stunning views! But the gardens were still lovely and the house and volunteers / staff inside were very helpful. Good cafe, nice coffee and as always a well stocked shop.

Very popular NT property, and a very good one also. The guides here know their stuff and tell you the history of the house and family without bombarding you with too much information. The house itself is from the 1920/30's and it's understated decor makes it rather charming, you could easily live in it nowadays. The gardens and grounds are excellent and well maintained by an army of NT volunteers, bravo to you all! 👏 There is a nice cafe and well stocked shop also. It's a lovely property to visit so check it out for yourselves 👍
