Be prepared for rustic and basic you will have a great stay, take easy prep food, sandwich, pot noodle. Church lane might test your suspension .

Booked to stay in one of the cottages through airbnb. The place was great, especially for the price, and exactly as listed. Matt was the best host we could have asked for, and repeatedly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Can't recommend this place enough.

Family of 7 Inc kids ages 2 to 9 stayed at this lovely getaway spot! Kids and adults had the most amazing time! Fell in love with all the animals. The beautiful scenery was just breathtaking. Matthew and his daughter were the perfect host, very welcoming and friendly. The building was so spacious and clean perfect for large groups, lots of outdoor space to run around. Approximately 25 minutes from beach town weymouth, looking forward to another trip to New barn. Thanks matt!

Another amazing stay at New Barn, this time we tried a bit of camping! For first time campers matt was so amazing with helping us enjoy the experience! Birthday bbq in the day, games and winding down the night around a lovely camp fire! Kids and adults alike just didn't want to leave! Highly recommended for a great family getaway!

An AMAZING place to stay!

Sure, the decor is outdated, and I'm not sure the place is too clean...but the countryside location is spectacular, it was fun, and the proximity and availability of animals was magical for children...and we were extremely sad to leave!

The place is away from main road and offers quiet walks into woods. Bunk beds available for large groups of people and children. Could do with more cleaning and other things.
