The ICB customer care are very pleasant and honest. They need to investigate but care in Norfolk is zero integrated. Queen Elizabeth Hospital do not publish approx wait times on ‘My Planned Care’ ICB were not aware.
My GP does not offer choice at referral and no one knows why. Is it because there’s no choice if ‘chronic’cancer is likely?
NHS choices seem to be restricted to hospitals in Norfolk and Waveney but no one is sure- yet.
Cambridge is easier than Norwich to reach but Cambridge say I can’t be treated there. NHS England don’t know if that’s their choice or ?
The rules appear arcane on referrals to mental health and now even more so for blood cancer.
Managers choose who is accepted for mental health treatment.
Routine Cancer appointments will go beyond 18 weeks but the patient will only find out way too late to go elsewhere.
Back to why ‘My Planned Care’ figures for Kings Lynn?
Why no acknowledgement this hospital has no hope of fulfilling the 18 week guidance.
Meanwhile patients deteriorate unless they can pay lots of money for private tests.
