We had a great experience hiring the horsebox from Nikki. She was quick with answering any phone calls/texts regarding the hire and she was very patient and flexible with the hiring dates. She was extremely helpful in particular with the process of submitting a hiring application with an EU driving license.

The horsebox itself was super easy to drive and although I was feeling a bit nervous to begin with, Nikki reassured me and made me feel very comfortable and confident to drive this with my horse for the first time. We had no issues throughout the whole journey and my boy was very happy and settled in the back. The horsebox is a lot more spacious than you’d think, but also still feels relatively easy and simple to drive, just like a regular car.

I will definitely hire from Nikki again as our experience was wonderful all round ☺️

First time hiring for us. Both Nikki and hubby very friendly and clear. After going through paperwork and checking the vehicle I left approx 20 mins after arriving. Box in working order and served us well on the day. Will definitely be using Nikki again.. 👍😊

Between my self and a friend we have used Herts Horsebox Hire on two occasions, for a day trip and a longer 4 day stay. On both occasions Nikki has been very kind and accommodating, getting up early on a Sunday morning for collection due to the box being delivered late the previous day. The collection and drop off were swift and easy. The box is very easy to drive and fairs very well on the motorway. The only things that could be an issue is that there is no head partition so if two horses are travelling they have to get on well with one another or you have to tie them pretty tight. Also, the saddle racks are positioned so that it is a tight squeeze getting the saddle on. I have a very low cantle on my saddle and still struggled so had to prop it up on the floor on the pommel instead. All that being said, I would definitely use Herts Horsebox Hire again in the future.

Nikki was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The box was a dream to drive and both ponies travelled in comfort. Great value and great service. I would highly recommend and will definitely be using again.

Straight forward easy hire. Nikki detailed the process of forms and ID in a manageable way. Polite and professional when I collected and returned the box. I travelled a 4 year old I just purchased and he was very happy in the back.

Would highly recommend hiring this box. Nikki was clear and quick with her communications and always happy to answer questions. The box is lovely to drive, easy to load up etc, even on your own! It was also very clean on collection 🙂

Nikki is exceptionally rude, common and unprofessional. We arrived to collect the box, at the arranged time and she wasn't available. She denied having received the forms and then became overtly aggressive over the phone.

I should have known better after she put all the other horse box hire companies down during the booking.

Not impressed at all.
