Best gym I've been to, hands down. I recently joined ONE DZ as was looking for a more local gym and know a few friends that go here. James was great when I originally enquired, found out a bit more about my fitness background and my other hobbies outside of the gym about my previous injury. The gym has great equipment, well maintained and a really cool vibe, the members are all really chill and the new sauna facilities look class! Also had a few follow up messages from the team to see if I'm enjoying it and getting on okay! Get joining!

I recently moved back to the area and tried out a bunch of gyms - and One DZ had something all the others didn't - community! James (who runs the place) loves this gym, and it shows. The attention to detail and the hygiene in this place were really impressive. Plus, there's nothing intimidating about it (I'm a 5"2 woman!) and this gym seemed to only attract super friendly, laid-back people. If you live near here, it's an absolute no-brainer.

I started ONE DZ back in March 2023 and have had a great time. The gym is a great environment for all ages. This place has made me reach my full potential and I look forward to every visit.

James, Fin and many other members of the team have made me feel welcome from the start and I have built more confidence within my training.

The environment within ONE DZ is one of the best, I have been apart of multiple gyms and this has to be the best everyone is willing to help and treats everyone with the same level of respect even if you’ve been there 10 minutes or 10 years.

I visit the gym around 4/5 times a week and love every moment, the facilities are amazing and the location is easy to get to.

For anyone reading the review I have lost around 12-14kg from when I started and this was my goal. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this gym more to anyone, every person within the gym is friendly and respectful.

A well-equipped gym with friendly and supportive owner and trainers, who can tailor programming to your requirements. Equipment is always well-maintained, clean and available. I've been using ONE|DZ for two and a half years now as the first gym I've ever attended regularly, which is a testament to its quality - and the bespoke training programme from Fin has helped me build the habit of training regularly.

By far the best gym in Derby. The equipment is always in good condition and kept tidy by members. The staff are all really friendly with a special mention for Joe who I use for my personal training sessions and is great. James the owner cares for his customers and it shows in everything within the gym with constant upgrades and new/clean facilities. Highly recommend One Dz

Outstanding gym in Darley Abbey Mills. Equipment is first class, the place is always kept super clean and tidy. The staff are all brilliant. Overall, a great place to train that has a friendly community vibe to it and really makes you enjoy working out!

Cannot speak highly enough if this place, been going for around 2 and a half years. All the staff are approachable, knowledgeable, and will to help and assist in any facet of gym life, whether that's equipment, form, nutrition etc. The equipment is well maintain and regularly updated. Love the place keep up the great work one dz!

One|DZ is a solid gym with a great community and top-quality equipment. The machines are all new and well-maintained, making it easy to get in a good workout. Big shoutout to James, the owner—he’s been great and really knows how to run a gym right. Definitely recommend as one of the best gyms you'll find in Derby no doubt. 👍
