Wow, where do I start!
I visited for an overnight retreat, and didn't want to leave. What a beautiful, calm space. The staff are so kind and helpful. The food was lovely, and plenty of it! Rooms are clean and comfortable, I had a great night sleep. There is a swimming pool also with a shower which was really nice added bonus. The meditation room is calm and peaceful, within the house itself which is decorated beautifully. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Daniel Frances and other staff members for your hospitality and a wonderful experience.

I stayed at Open Pathway for just under 3 weeks this autumn, volunteering in return for food and accommodation, and I can tell you that it is a very special place. The centre is ably run by a small but extremely dedicated team who all exude a wonderful sense of peace and calm, which rubs off on you when you are there. There is a large 17th century farmhouse which has a cosy lounge with open fireplace and a dining room with views of the stunning gardens, a swimming pool, yoga spaces and meditation and treatment rooms. They offer so many things - personal and silent retreats (individual and group), yoga, energy healing (people and animals) and meditation courses, venue hire and more. The centre is a registered charity and the ethos is to provide offerings with unconditional love, which really comes across. I am not religious in a traditional sense and found a true atmosphere of acceptance at Open Pathway, and this helped me develop my own inner spirituality. I took part in a variety of tasks including office work (my forte), a bit of gardening, cleaning and kitchen related tasks; everyone mucks in with whatever needs doing but there is no pressure. I enjoyed plenty of time to myself, much of it spent in the absolutely beautiful gardens, which defy description. Queen Camel itself is also a lovely place to be based, with plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep. I cannot recommend Open Pathway enough.

I have stayed at Open Pathway a couple of times. It is an amazing place and as soon as you arrive you can feel the good energy. Everyone there is so kind, thoughtful and caring. The gardens are amazing and you can find peace and quiet there. You can also join in the meditation and they have lots of courses if you want to do one. The food is delicious and the accommodation is really comfortable. I love this place and have booked to go back in April and August. I can't wait. I really feel at home there

I have attended several retreats which have always been magical. The deep work i experienced was life changing. I always felt safe and held to peal back the layers, it's strong stuff. There is lightness and laughter too, it's not all work! I highly recommend volunteering or residential retreats and everything in between.

I suffer with fibromyalgia and the pain is sometimes unbearable. I was introduced to the centre by a friend and had a number of healing sessions here. I was unsure if this would work but I am pleased to say I felt better from the very start. I continued to have weekly healing sessions and felt I was getting some of my life back. I was also fortunate enough to get a membership to the pool, which again helped me enormously. You can book a private session, its just fantastic. The team are very understanding and go out of there way to help. I am so grateful to the centre. I know you can stay at the retreat and have met some of the very happy residents on my many visits there.

Heaven on earth, if it is peace and inner connection you want there is no better place to be. The people who work there are friendly and warm, the vegetarian food is wonderful, the grounds are well maintained, rooms are basic but clean, there is an indoor pool, plenty of places to walk or you can just sit and relax. A place to nuture your mind, body and soul.
