Orchards Cookery

I recently completed the 2 week ski chalet course at Orchards Cookery School, and it was an amazing experience. The food we made and the instructors who taught it were fantastic. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, providing hands-on cooking training that was both fun and educational. Also the help provided towards applying and getting a job for a ski season was professional and comprehensive. I would highly recommend Orchard for anyone looking to improve their cooking skills and seeking a job at a ski chalet.

I did the two week chalet course over two separate weeks and I loved both of them. It’s a great environment for learning. The tutors were great and so were the kitchen managers. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to develop their cooking skills and definitely if they wanted to do a ski season.

Our son has completed the two week chalet cookery course at Orchards and has absolutely loved it. He has come home with an armour of delicious meals and have been keen to demonstrate his culinary skills on us which we have really appreciated! The staff at Orchards has been fantastic, from the first enquiry we made to helping out with emergency medication needed for our son. All staff members were engaging, responsive and attentive throughout. Thank you Orchards, a first class experience and we would highly recommend this school and course without hesitation.

I did the 5-day Chalet Cooks course at Orchards, and it was an absolute blast! Not only did we learn everything we needed to know to be successful chalet hosts, but the whole experience was so much fun. There was constant laughter and even some singing in the kitchen while we cooked and learned. I can’t believe it’s over – it was such an unforgettable time. Huge thanks to everyone at Orchards, especially Amanda, our super patient and helpful kitchen tutor!

I would 100% recommend the Orchards chalet course to anyone looking to do a ski season. The two weeks I spent there were so much fun and have improved my kitchen skills massively!! The amount of help that Orchards give you with your application and interview tips couldn’t be more useful!!

I had such an incredible week at Orchards. I did the Off to University course - it was so useful and fun and as a result my confidence in the kitchen has hugely increased. Thank you to Bea and Chloe who were amazing with all their help and kept a really fun vibe going. The facilities were exceptional and the whole atmosphere of the school felt very homely. I couldn't recommend this course enough.
