Useful centre staffed by very friendly people, if you are interested in learning some interesting history about the area it is well worth popping in. They also run tours for the Victoria tunnels here.

Ouseburn trust have created a mini Shoreditch in Newcastle. On the picturesque Ouseburn River leading to the entrance to the tyne this stunning area give visitors a taste of culture with its bars restaurants and some fantastic street art.
A lovely stroll is highly recommended along the banks of the Ouseburn.
Something for all ages great pubs, food abd entertainment there's even a great little farm to vist featuring a great section of farm animals.

Trevor did our tour of the Victorian tunnels and he was very knowledgeable. Great stories and lovely to learn something new about the city we live in. Wished we had done the 2 hour tour but we will be back again for the Wine tasting!! Great little tour and very informative.

We took our grandson to visit this tunnel last Monday and what an experience it was. The volunteer guides were so well informed and made the tour historically interesting with a bit of humour thrown in. Very well worth a visit to find out about this tunnel under the city streets.
