I went on a school residential trip here in April. We had a good time at Kingswood Norfolk. The food was okay and the staff were very nice. The activities were fun. However the hygiene was disgusting. The bedrooms were dirty and the beds were uncomfortable and we were unable to move without the bed creeking. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and would have probably been been more comfortable to sleep on the floor. The bedding also had blood stains on them. The floors were sticky and really grubby and needed a good clean. The hygiene of this place wasn't good. Also just a side note. There are only 2 plug sockets for 9 people to share so I would recommend bringing some extension plugs.

14 people in a single room. A single window that opens to the reception inside the building. No sockets to plug a fan or charge your phone. 40⁰C and had to stay there on 7 bunk beds. Showers are boiling hot and dirty. No sink in the room had to use bathroom sinks for brushing teeth and other stuff. Food is terrible. Activities are underwhelmingly boring.

i stayed here recently, and to be honest it did disappoint a bit - the rooms were not great, the ones we stayed in were tiny, the beds were dirty the mattresses were really uncomfortable, there wasn’t even a bathroom just a sink & we had to share showers which stunk had no privacy just a thin curtain and were dirty since the toilets are right next to them. another thing was the food. it was so bland partially the mac and cheese it tasted like cardboard and milk which many people mentioned. another thing was the awful signal we could not contact anyone and it really annoyed everyone
but anyways aside from that i enjoyed my stay to an extent the activities were fun and the staff were very nice so that was good

Was here for 2 weeks over the summer was a beautiful place staff are friendly and help you out when ever you need them the bedrooms are nice and cozy , big dining area , but best part was the grounds , so much activitys you can do and the staff always there to supervise its safe and fun don't think anyone would say that it isn't fun , and also its only a 7 min walk down to the beach so nice building great activities and amazing location 👍👍👍

My school went here for residential trip For 3 days. Bedrooms were tiny and facilities like charging plugs were not well kept. Food was atrocious and tasteless. Vegetarian options were near to null. Some parts of the building were not the best kept. However the staff were really nice and helpful and made all the activities pretty fun. Toilets were the far most the worst there though. Really dirty!

Stayed here for 2 nights; very spacious rooms and good building, food was scrumptious, nice activities and big atmosphere.

The only two things that bothered me when I stayed was: that my bed had blood stains and the neighbours were jumping from their bed several times and a crack appeared in our ceiling.

After all, a good place to go for some time.

I would love to give Kingswood Overstrand a 5* because it deserved it. The only reason I haven't is because we found that facilities for wheel chair users weren't entirely up to scratch. That's not saying the staff didn't bend over backwards to help us. Pushing wheelchairs on soggy grass, bumpy paths and difficult slopes was very rough on our backs.
We had 18 SEN students with us who took part in several activities over 5 days. We cannot fault the staff (Mackenzie, Lucy and Michael to name just a few.)
We were treated like Kings.Yes the accomodation is basic, but adequate. After all you're not in your rooms very much. Toilets n shower facilities plentiful. The food was lovely. Lots of choice and lots of it if needed. Everyone was patient. We weren't rushed with anything. Our little group bonded and had a fabulous time
We can't wait to come back again.

Thank you
