I enrolled on a course at this college on 1st March. A'level Ancient History. I paid in full. However, I realised that this was not the course for me. I emailed to cancel my enrollment on Monday 4th of March and filled in the appropriate form, which I confirmed was received by the college. I was told that there would be a £50 administrative charge deducted from my refund and that it could be up to 21 days before my refund arrived. In section 12.5 of this company's own terms and conditions, it clearly states that "Refunds will be paid within 21 days. Yet here I am on around day 29 and STILL NO SIGN OF MY MONEY. Be very cautious about enrolling with this outfit!

I hadn't studied in any college for quite a few years so I didnt know what to expect. I very much enjoyed the course I did (Child Coaching), The material was easy to use and the very well structured. The tutor provided comments which were helpful and kept motivation up. The assessment was harder than I expected, but a good test of knowledge and understanding of the subject.

Overall this has been a great experience at studying and I will continue to do more in the near future.

Don't recommend the Marine biology course. The pdf is badly structured, not proof read, there is errors in every unit, there is no images (photos), it's all child like drawings. My school books when I was 10 had better quality images. Latest update is 2006!!! My school books where updated every year and did not cost the £300 pounds this course cost + the £50 for the pdf.

I have been watching youtube videos on marine biology that are way better than this course.

Unless you need the certificate for something, save your money and buy some decent Marine biology books for £350.

The course guided me through each module which clearly explained the growth and development process of the course and what I was going to study I have now completed the course and have further knowledge of Biology as a whole. I have always found Biology interesting since secondary education but never developed this until now and this has been the best decision I have made. I am enjoying every bit of it and am hoping to progress to a Level 4 course upon completion.

Excellent. Achieved an Accredited Level 3 Diploma in Nutrition. Student services were extremely helpful and quick to respond (even on call). My tutor Lucy was very kind and quick to respond also, my coursework was marked in under 3 days! Fantastic college, currently enrolled on the Accredited Level 3 Diploma in Herbal Medicine 🙂

I personally liked the course, the content of the reading materials and the language used. i found the information useful and it was pleasant to go through the reading materials. Personally I wanted to pass the course faster and because of that didn't write most of the SAP's but probably is a good idea to be compulsory. I think that they are very useful and make the student to do a lot of research while learning many new and additional things. I am very happy with the fast and efficient responses from the academic department or my tutor's feedback on the SAP's. Thank you very much and would say great job to your team

Very unhappy.

I understand that a contract is needed when purchasing an A-Level course, however I very quickly realised that the courwe in question is certainly not "value for money."

I bought the 3-subject package, costing over £800, and opted to pay monthly as the cost is so large to me. I expected something that teaches me effectively and gives me a lot of help along the way from the online tutors, yet what I got instead was simply an online booklet for each topic, quite old-fashioned and bland/blocky paragraphs in layout, with no photographs or diagrams. That is it. I tried many times to reach out to my 'tutors' for help in my subjects, but often did not receive a response; if I ever did, it was almost a week later, and all they told me to do was refer to the online course (booklet.) Helpful...? I did not once feel supported and it made it ever more stressful.

Also, additional costs are needed to actually sit the exams at the end of the year, and I found myself having to purchase my own pricey books on the topics to ACTUALLY help me. I realised that the courses I was provided with, were the equivalent of free booklets I'd be able to probably find online.

Once I tried to break the contract, unintentionally at first, as I got a new debit card and forgot to change the card number on my payment details, I assumed I wouldn't have to pay the remainder as: I was paying monthly, I did not intend to continue, and I hadn't even logged in to my account since my previous payment. This was not the case: I was bombarded with emails every week claiming payment wasn't successfully made, and after a few of these, was sent a threatening email claiming they would hand my details to a debt collection agency, if I refused to keep paying for the unhelpful course.

DO NOT choose Oxford Learning College if you wish to take your A-Levels or anything equivalent - it is a huge waste of money (over £800, to be precise, some maybe even more.) I am only 19 years old, I am stressed, and almost completely out of money, and I want something to be done about it.
