Staff fantastic and food is made on site and good quality of food. went here on rehab however it’s not wheelchair friendly and doorways and corridors narrow and had about an inch so had to be careful but it was built in another era and waiting for new place to be done, so sad to see the building outside with rotting boards under drainpipe and outside garden furniture abandoned. The rooms are spacious and well kitted out and aerial for tvs. Nice range of furniture in rooms but could not get to wardrobe in bedroom. Good quality beds. Sad to leave but it was a health risk staying there, staff were great although they take younger patients I would say 95 percent are pensioners. Lovely selection of books to read and tvs in the lounges as well.

Padgate house is great for people who need to get back on their feet. All the doctors/nurses/care workers are lovely. The food is really good. My mum is in there at the moment and they are trying to get her back on her feet, after having three weeks stay in that hell hole of a hospital. Padgate house are trying to reverse the damage done by the lack of care endured in Warrington hospital.

My dad has been in and out of there over the last few months and cant praise the staff enough. How they keep so upbeat and friendly is beyond me . Nothing is too much trouble and they are so patient and caring with the patients yet always ready to have a laugh with them. Nobody wants to be there but feel the staff's attitude will certainly aid their recovery. My dad said his nurse Anne I think but could be wrong has been great, he said she is so knowledgeable Thanks

My mum was in this place for a couple of months. All the patients have individual rooms that are quite roomy and pleasant. The staff here looked after her really well and this was so appreciated by us. They have 3 or 4 separate lounge areas here which makes it more personal.

I spent five weeks in Padgate House. I obviously didn't want to go in the beginning but I didn't have any choice. I was treated with dignity and respect and things were explained to me in a language that I could understand. I found that the staff couldn't do enough for me. I wanted to stamp my independance and whether that helped I don't know. Every stage of my rehab was discussed with me so I was part of the process. I could mention names for the staff but I know I'd miss someone off the list but from the top to the bottom they were helpful and there for you if you needed them day or night. I've been home now almost two weeks and it's because of the staff at Padgate House that I'm in a much better state than I was when I first went in there. Thank you one and all!!!
