The instructor, Paul Allmark, is brilliant. Very patient and thorough and very well know and respected in the paragliding community. He has been flying since the eighties and is one of the most experienced instructors in the UK. Taught me to fly and I couldn't have picked a better person to teach me.

Attended a ‘Taster Day’ with Paul and Jim. After a few years of wanting to try paragliding out my partner brought me the one day taster as a birthday gift.

The day was an absolute blast, it started at Edge Top where we practiced some Ground Handling and basic theory (as it was quite breezy we started on some smaller speed wings). We then moved over to Bunster hill where we got to try out a full sized wing where we spent the afternoon doing hops down the field!

I feel that this was just the day I needed to confirm that I would like to pursue the hobby further!

It’s obvious that Paul and Jim have a great deal of experience when it comes to the sport and with their relaxed approach to the day it was very enjoyable but also not to overwhelming with lots of information to retain!

I’m hopefully looking forward to booking on the EPC & CPC courses in the near future!
