Opinions and Reviews

One of the oldest buildings in Portsmouth, the Park Building is a cherished landmark that offers not only its rich history but also a serene environment for students to study. Its reading space and café provide the perfect setting for relaxation and research. For those who are students at the university, this location is often preferred over the library due to its quiet and less crowded atmosphere. Some have even reported the building's ghosts keeping them company during quiet hours, a nod to its past as a morgue. While the Richmond location is also highly regarded, the Park Building stands out for its tranquility and historical charm.

If you're a student at uni, this is the best place to get some work done. It's more quiet and less crowded than the library. The ghosts do keep you company when it gets lonely (the building used to be a morgue). The next best location would be Richmond, but in some occasions it can get noisy.

I went here for a lecture and tried to ask a question that I didn't know how to word. Waffled for a minute and then didn't talk for the rest of the lecture. Made a fool out of myself. Nice building tho, good use of space
