I booked my two ragdolls into this cattery for a few nights so that they would not be distressed whilst movong house. However, a week prior when asking some questions such as what food and litter is used we were basically shouted at by a very rude woman with very odd remarks such as 'it feels like we are being used as a last resort' and that we were 'asking all sorts of questions'. This complete rudeness and bizarre behaviour made us not want to actually use the cattery which is a shame as we annually go on holiday and use catteries for anywhere upto 3+ weeks, so they have lost what could have been a very good customer.

At the end of the day we (the cats owners) want the very best for our cats who are not just animals but family members and have every right to know the things we were asking.

Used this kennels loads of times over Las 30 years, different dogs. A long gap since I have used it due to moving away.
Used before covid for weeks when I went on holiday, always friendly.
I have always just walked in, waited and everything was always great until this visit.
I went to drop my dogs off and just walked in like I did every time before. I asked the gent how much will I need when collecting them as I knew it was just cash in todays day n age. I was spoken to abruptly, waited for my dogs to be collected and left.
Went to collect them today. Arrived at 8.55 and waited as it is open at 9am as advertised. A lady walking a dog said give me 5 mins. Which was 9am. I went in, opened door and just waited. The abrupt man I saw on Saturday morning says can you go outside we are not open. I said door was open/unlocked and it's 9am. The woman who walked the dog came up and stated "I'm bloody sick of customers this year, I work 7 days a week walk all these dogs and do u want to see the state of my feet. I was angry and raised my voice to both stating I have been here loads over the years and never had this. I only walked in it advertises 9am, I'm only collecting my dogs. They continued to moan, criticise me for just arriving on time to collect my dogs, which I thought is helpful to them.
My dogs stink, the kennels stink, their attitude stinks. I have been a boss for years and if I spoke to customers like that I'd of been sacked.
This was all played out infront of people I have known for years who were collecting their dog too, and arrived like me.
When I dropped dogs off, everyone else just walked in also, the same as I did.
Maybe it's a woman thing.
If they hate customers this much they are in the wrong job.
I will definitely take my business elsewhere in the future.
I want happy dogs to come back to, not cowering and smelly ones.
Thanks for nothing. My advice to others is book elsewhere

Very helpful when my flight home was delayed.
Bella was well looked after and very clean - she had had two baths whilst there.
Bella has eye medication twice daily which they were happy to administer.
I will definitely use this kennels again.
Very pleased with their service.

Really would not recommend this place at all, seemed ok to start with however when came to collect and pay the card machine was broken. Asked about bank transfer and was told couldn't be done only cash, so that was fine however I did get hassled via calls / texts to drop it off although I had offered there and then to pay via bank transfer and explained would be a few days otherwise. The phone number also doesn't come up as their business.

The price also appeared to be odd and different to any other kennels as I dropped Ozzie off in the afternoon and was charged full price for that day as if he'd been kenneled an extra day, when I queried this as I had purposefully dropped off in the PM I was just told this was standard practice (yet to use another kennels who does this).

All aside Ozzie seemed happy there so tried 3/4 times since to book him in again and my messages have just been ignored, not even a courtesy reply hence the 1* review

We went away on holiday last minute, so we couldn't fit our dog into our usual kennels. We gave Park Road a try, we won't be returning. Once we collected our dog he was covered in urine, like he'd slept in a dirty kennel for the week, when we went to stroke him he cowered, now he's never done this before! A couple of weeks after his stay I noticed he had sore ears so I took him to the vets who confirmed he had ear mites. 😔 Not good! I do however highly recommend Verstone.

My local kennels in Kent would not take my dog as they could not apply cream to a wound. Travelled with the dog and and put in here. Medicated and applied cream with no bother at at all. Very happy dog, very happy me!

Absolutely disgusting customer service and show next to no care for your dog, had my GSP in over night and when returned the next morning he absolutely stunk to the point where I was borking! Had to shower him immediately and also it was 11.30 when he was dropped off and he still hadn't been fed! So not recommend
