A great family run swim school that also teaches instructors. The pool and environment
are lovely and warm. My children love the lessons here and have become so confident and safe in the water with the help of Anna-Lee, Sharon and Debbie. The swim school also offer half term, one to ones to improve or build confidence for both kids and adults with the session proving immensely positive for my six year old who'd lost her confidence in another pool. We are looking forward to a Halloween party that is being held here and are planning my daughter's birthday party here too!

Both my girls have learnt to swim with Sharon and Annalee since they were little, and still enjoy their lessons now. I was so pleased that even once they outgrew the Althorne pool, they were able to continue their lessons in Danbury with Annalee.

They have grown into such confident and competent swimmers, and have really enjoyed learning new skills, such as life saving, snorkelling and swimming with mermaid tails, as well as the occasional themed swimming party.

I couldn’t recommend Penguins enough, they are friendly, supportive, and understanding. We feel very blessed to have had the opportunity for our girls to grow and flourish during their time here. Thanks ladies!

My 6 year old daughter had her first swim lesson with Sharon today, I cannot praise this swim school enough, from the second my daughter was in the pool she was relaxed and laughing with Sharon. The whole lesson was fun, from filling the pool with plastic ducks which she had to collect, to splashing around, she had so much fun, but the whole time she was learning and never realised it.

I didn’t need to take any armband, as Sharon uses her own.

The pool is amazing and warm, plenty of space in the changing rooms. There’s drinks facilities in the pool area with seating for the parents to watch., and a large car park out front.

We managed to get booked up for September thank goodness, as spaces are going fast.

I can not tell you how proud my daughter was today, of her swimming abilities, and she did not want to get out of the pool.

Thank you Sharon & Annalee for restoring the confidence in my daughter with swimming lessons.
