I may be old fashioned but I though libraries were supposed to be quiet places. This is one of the noises places I have ever experienced. The staff never ask people to be quiet. I've witness a lady singing through the aisles of the place. People talk at the top of their voices and children run around the place screaming like it is a playground. It is not a place to go if you need to study. They will tell you there is a room upstairs but that is rarely available as it is used for weddings. It is also not checked so still loud.

Must make sure to put signs up encouraging people to keep quiet, but once they do that this will be a perfect library! 🙌🏼

Sympathetic refurbishment of a listed building that should ensure that it is well maintained in future.
