For me it was a very disappointing experience. I did the Level 2 Social Care and there was no 'teaching' at all. They just handed you the modules and you had to complete. They expect a lot with no teaching or input.

My company works in partnership with PHX Training, Preston Branch. I work closely with the whole team - Senior Management, Administrators and Tutors. They are a great bunch and easy to work with, keeping me in the loop regarding corporate activity within the building and supporting me in my own role, both as trusted colleagues and valued critical friends. They have a lot of students registered on various courses and from differing backgrounds but seem to meet everyone's individual needs. Many a time I have chatted to PHX learners, who on arrival for a first visit seem a little nervous or daunted but leave bubbling and confident, knowing that they too are working in partnership with an understanding, compassionate and professional team !

I just came off a SIA course in Blackburn which was taught by Liam Hughes of PHX Training. Over the past 30+ years I've been on a few courses and I can honestly say Liam is one of the best trainers I've seen. He's knowledgable, has good demeanour and is very patient - he had to be to put up with one or two individuals in the class. Overall a very good course and an even better instructor. I thoroughly enjoyed the course.

While I was attending PHX to complete my L2 in Maths. Learning was made easy by the staff that support me to achieve my goal. I would encourage all to use PHX for Maths training.

Absolute shambles of a company. Mis sold us and cost us thousands of pounds and totally wasted our time. We were told that funding would be done and after 3 months of staff doing the training they told us they had made a mistake and we are still out of pocket. We actually ended up paying them instead of us receiving training funding. We actually employed staff off the back of what they told us they could do. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't feel welcomed when I did a test for my Maths and English, when the person contacted me to have a first lesson, I told them that I couldn't do it because I was on holiday and not received any responses since then, I felt like I wasted my time on this company, even with the southport one before they got closed down
