Our son started swimming lessons at Poolside Manor just over a year ago. He was 3 and a half and had only been in a swimming pool on holiday, splashing around the baby pool or holding us tight in the big pool. When he started I wasn’t sure he would get in to the swimming pool without a parent with him, but the staff were so lovely to him, giving him the confidence to just walk off and he went straight into the pool without us, while we watched from the parents area. His swimming teacher is Francesca and she is absolutely amazing, we can’t thank her enough. She has pushed him (within his ability) and he can actually swim and is doing far better than I ever imagined one year on. Francesca is encouraging and patient and explains everything to the children in a way that makes his lesson engaging and fun. At the end of each term they have a fun swim session with pool toys and floats which he absolutely loves. The whole team, especially Vicky are wonderful and so lovely to the children. We couldn’t be happier with our son’s progress and that’s mainly down to Francesca. Even the reception team are great, Sharon is wonderful and so accommodating when we had to change swim days. They are all so helpful and the clean changing rooms and spacious car park also help to make for a lovely swim session experience. Thank you Poolside Manor, it’s an amazing swim school and has enabled our son to accomplish an excellent life skill.

Having at present adult swimming lessons and happy that i have found Poolside Manor and especially Pawel. As a teacher he understands your fears and needs and tailors the lesson to what you need. And i am impressed with my progress in a very short time, coming from an adult who was afraid to be in the water.
Staff is very polite and Lu is very helpful.

I’ve been taking swimming lessons for a while now, and the experience has been fantastic.

I have started my lesson as a complete beginner, my instructor Pawel is very patient, encouraging, and always explains techniques in a way that's easy to understand.
I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my swimming skills, and the lessons are always structured in a way that builds confidence and competence.
I now feel much more comfortable in the water and look forward to each session.

I had my first session today as part of my physiotherapy. Very friendly and staff, nice, warm water,clean place. I am a partially disabled person and they did everything for my safety and to accommodate my special needs. Thank you for or the help!

Been coming to this little gem for 6 years now . I come Monday to Friday to have a relaxing swim. The water is lovely and warm.

My child did a crash course and I was really impressed with the teaching. I highly recommend.

The place is warm and clean, although you do get some mothers going into the changing rooms with their dirty buggies, which undermines the attempts at hygiene…

I am glad parents are kept away from the poolside and you can see plenty from the viewing room.

I was a beginner and took 10 adult swimming sessions to learn swimming. Harry and Lewis were really helpful and their teaching methods are extremely good. Even if there were 3 or 4 (or more) students they’ll patiently watch everyone swim, correct your mistakes and also give you suggestions which helped me a lot. Overall a really good experience and will suggest to anyone who wants to learn swimming. The other staffs are also friendly, quick to respond and help you in case if you have any queries.

Amazing pool and team of teachers. Over 10 sessions Pawel gave me such great advice and encouragement that I now know I am a decent swimmer and I look forward to continuing our lessons in autumn. Could not recommend Poolside Manor more.
