Raven! What can I say, well they were amazing from start to finish!
I have just completed my A2 license after not being on a bike for over a year and my experience with Raven has been absolutely amazing to say the least, they go above and beyond. I started with a 125/650 day and Jim made me feel so confident and comfortable, moving on I started to do Mod 1 & 2 Lessons with JT, JT was also amazing and taught me everything I needed to know and more! I can’t thank Jim and JT enough for getting me through both Mod 1 & 2, they were patient despite my questionable navigation skills and always filled me with confidence and laughter down to the very last minute of my time at Raven. I also would like to say thanks to other staff at Raven who made copious amounts of brews (Sarah) and chatted like I’d known them for years! Thankyou all! You made my experience something to remember and I will be forever grateful for the skills you have given me. I hope to see you all again when I have my new bike and come back for more training!

I did my first cbt in 2021 with raven and they were fantastic then and i re sat it today and they’ve never changed. Andy the instructor was very patient and was very helpful in every way which made the experience even better. would definitely recommend

I completed my CBT on Saturday, 25th January, with Raven, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The instructors were incredible—friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I had the pleasure of Mark as my main instructor, with Andy observing as part of the session. Bob was also part of the group, and the relaxed yet focused atmosphere made the day enjoyable.

The bikes and equipment provided were modern, comfortable, and well-maintained, which added to the overall smoothness of the day. Mark and Andy guided us through the process with clear instructions and plenty of encouragement, making it easy to build confidence and progress quickly.

I can’t recommend Raven enough if you’re looking for a professional, enjoyable, and well-equipped CBT experience. Huge thanks to Mark, Andy, and the team for their outstanding work!

Nice bikes, the instructor was clear and helped me with any questions I had. Was very understanding and helped me with any mistakes I made. Would recommend for anyone looking to do their CBT.

Been through the full licence process with ravens and I can honestly say these guys are the best motorbike instructors in derby, with lots of positive energy, excellent training skills and a friendly welcome no matter if you've ever been on a bike before or not.

Special thanks to Andy who started me off with the basics, and then as I was advancing Jim took over and again he's been very good in training me throughout my journey and now I hold a full bike licence...

I highly recommend these guys, no flaws, no hidden cons or any deceptions, if you need further training they will provide it, and if your good to go they will pop you through for a test it's that simple.

By the way Jim looks grumpy but he's got a heart of gold so don't judge a book by its cover 😉

I was reccomended to Raven by a friend and Raven didn't disappoint one bit. I did my Mod 1 training with Nigel who was really easy to get along with and friendly, I then did my Mod 2 training with Jim who was also really easy to get along with. The whole team at Raven are brilliant. I passed both Mod 1 & 2 first time due to their attention to detail with the training. Thanks guys i really enjoyed it (PAUL)

A great learning (and unlearning) experience with some of the best instructors I’ve met. Gained a good amount of knowledge and had plenty of fun! I came here with my Mod1 and Mod2 already booked and they scheduled the training (including the CBT) accordingly, and I got my A license as planned 😁

Coming from a country with a completely different and chaotic way of riding, I found the instructors to be very acknowledging and helpful. Jim, especially, helped me unlearn my old riding habits. I would absolutely recommend this school for new and experienced riders👌🏼

What a great experience. I would recommend the pre-CBT course prior to the CBT as i feel it gave me the time and understanding of the bike but cant say enough praise for my instructor Mark. Wish you all the best for the future mate and i'll be back soon.
