Amazing instructor. Previously had 12 years of people letting me down, instructors giving up on me, and after being ripped off by a 5 day intensive, I honestly almost gave up on all hope of driving... but Steve was the first instructor who never gave up on me!

Being an older learner is very hard, but Steve was patient, honest and even when I kept over thinking and putting myself down beating, he pushed me to buck my ideas up and start getting things right.

When finally had the courage to walk into the test centre to do the actual driving test for the first time with Steve’s help I passed with only 7 minors.

Only wished I had started with Steve sooner.

Steve of Red to Green Training has been an absolute rock. Throughout snow, the ever present threat of Covid and my inability to get it the hang of it, he hung on in there with me!
So many hours of training - from theory, to driving skills, to my first attempts at giving lessons, to that crucial, final training to pass that dreaded test to become a fully qualified driving instructor, Steve stuck with me, motivated me, shared his skills and his knowledge all the way.
I can't thank him enough and would (and am) happy to recommend him to anyone either learning to drive or, best of all, aspiring to become an Approved Driving Instructor.

I passed my part 3 test, first attempt, with a rare grade “A”, using Steve Mitchell and red2green training. Although our training sessions were only booked in 2 hour slots, Steve spent far more time than this, and always ensured I fully understood and had time to practise every detail until it was polished. He would send me useful literature, thought provoking links, and was always available 24/7 if I had a question or needed some clarity, if he didn’t know the answer, which was rare, he would find it for me.
His teaching style also wears many hats and his ability to coach an answer out of me,or stretch my learning with his own vast experience, were both used appropriately, empathetically and with great success. 10/10

I have recently qualified as an ADI under the training of Steve.
I’d first had contact with Steve via the AA/BSM training school in April 2021. From there on in, all my training was carried out by Steve, who was on hand to offer help & advice throughout.
All my lessons with Steve for my Part 2 & my Part 3 training were Client Centered & geared towards my learning. Which is exactly how it should be.
Steve has completed some of the industries most recognised training courses via the only training provider approved by the DVSA, and it shows!
I aim to follow suit in time & I know that if I needed any help or advice, Steve will be on hand.
I highly recommend Steve Mitchell for all your training needs, whether that’s Learner Driver training or Trainee Instructor training. 5 STARS*
