My daughter has happily been attending classes at San Marie for five and a half years now.
What I thought might just be a bit of fun for her as an after-school club has turned into one of things she loves the most!
The teachers are fantastic, professional, caring, and work very hard to help their students reach their goals. My daughter was quite worried about taking dance exams at first but with the excellent teaching her has received she has been so happy to achieve great results.
The annual shows at the Towngate theatre are the highlight of the year, both for the dancers and their families!
To top off this the way the team at San Marie have coped with the set backs and challenges of Covid-19 has been outstanding! For my daughter her dance classes have given her a positive focus in uncertain times and kept her fit and healthy.
If you are looking for a dance school for your child I would absolutely recommend San Marie.

I highly recommend San-Marie Stage School. My daughter has been dancing for 8 years with the school and my only regret is not starting her earlier! The opportunities the students get are incredible ranging from performing in the annual show at Towngate Theatre to performing on a cruise ship. Lisa and all the staff are brilliant and really care for the students. During lockdown Lisa & the team found a way to keep the students dancing with online challenges. If your looking for a Dance School I cannot recommend San Marie enough!

My daughter joined San- Marie just before the first lockdown after we moved to Essex. She absolutely loves going to ballet at San- Marie. The dance teachers are so lovely and my daughter's confidence and skills have really taken off. We had a Zoom lesson recently (2nd lockdown) and I was so impressed with how much she has improved already. Thank you to all the staff at San- Marie. My daughter has now found her love of dancing once again after a bad experience at a previous dance school in London. X

I cannot speak highly enough of San-Marie. My daughter has attended since she was 2.5 years old and is now 13. She absolutely loves it here.
The school offers many opportunities, including ISTD exams, performance shows and competitions.
Some of the students have also been lucky enough to travel with San-Marie to perform on a Cruise Ship.
During lockdown San-Marie kept the students busy with challenges and kept them dancing throughout, which I cannot thank them enough for.
The teachers are brilliant and so professional and have high expectations of their students.

A great stage school with fantastic teachers who work very hard to get the best out of all of their students. Each year I'm so impressed with their shows which take place at The Towngate Theatre. They are delivered to an extremely high standard and you can tell that all the students love taking part. My daughter loves going to San-Marie!

My daughter started with San-Marie in their little stars class age 3. 3 years later she still absolutely loves going. The teachers are both professional and personable and I feel there is a real community spirit within the school too. In recent months with Covid, I have been impressed even further. They have adapted in a safe and secure manner to ensure their students continue to progress and can carry on doing what they love, even during lockdown. I would not hesitate in recommending this school to anybody!

Great dance studio for all ages. My 13 year old daughter has been going there for years and loves all her dance classes that she does. Every year they do a dance show at the theatre which is amazing and they also have a competition team which competes locally in dance competitions all year round.
