Wonderful place. But for the price i expected a different room. No curtains on the window, a room looking like an hospital room, with a very small tap and nothing to put my clothes in. Not a real hotel, sure, but the price of a real hotel.

Booked two double rooms, one front and one back. Gave the kids the amazing view of the cathedral. Glorious location moments from the city centre, friendly charm, quirky rambling building, generous breakfast, unusual non-hotel atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend for anyone who wants something a little different to hotels and Airbnbs. When returning at night (before 11pm) before entering, stop, turn around and marvel at the view of the lit up cathedral.

What a fantastic place! I chose Sarum College for our Salisbury stay as we wanted to be near the Cathedral and the fact that the GBP profile said they were LGBTQ friendly!
The location is within the cathedral close which was very special and the staff were very friendly. The room was great (amazing view of the cathedral) and the breakfast buffet was really good.
A wonderful place to stay and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you Sarum College- it was a memorable time!

Unrivaled location. Paper thin walls are indeed disturbing to those wishing for a quiet night. Floors will shake with every step and you will indeed get to know your neighbors drunk or sober.

Comfy and clean, warm and cosy. Staff attentive and helpful, and will try accommodate where they can. Room doesn’t have air con, but in the colder weather not an issue and windows can be opened. Lovely views.

Travelled with a large group from Poole,good check in ,lovely friendly staff.rooms and layout are "quirky"but I feel this adds to a sense of adventure.
Breakfast is very very good .Full English, cereals ,cheeses and juices ,which would shame a Premier inn .price point for rooms ,especially singles is reasonable.
Where else can you stay in an historic gated community?
Would appreciate arranging a good discount or privilege pass for cathederal ?

Lovely central location, loads of free parking, clean and comfortable rooms, lovely staff and a great breakfast. Although don’t expect hotel style amenities. We had an en suite double with shower, Toiletries meant only a small bar of soap so do take shampoo. Towels and linen were fresh and soft. No TV, but we knew that anyway as it is clearly stated. Be warned however, it is within the gated community surrounding the cathedral and as such there is literally no access after about 11pm, at all. The site suggests you can get a key to let yourself in however they did not have any! We had to leave our wedding reception early enough to get back to the room. Ok if you aren’t planning a late evening, but do double check with them before booking to see if they have any keys. |Otherwise a perfect and very reasonable stay in the centre of the city. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Stayed for a two day break and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The parking was free and plenty of spaces.

The room was clea, functional & well decorated. The mattress was a bit hard, but ok.

The location was perfect, as we could see the cathedral from our room, which was fantastic.
Plus it was close to other historical houses.

Breakfast was serve yourself a choice of full English ( great sausages) or continental.

Salisbury is a beautiful place, with an amazing assortment of shops.

We visited some beautiful historical places and walked along the river, well worth a visit.
