Not sure what to make of this academy as I've been trying to get in contact since January about taking the level 2 painting and decorating course but every time I call it's impossible to get through and make contact as no one answers the number listed to call

I took a Business Administration course in this academy, which was a very good course and I am satisfied with it. My tutor Andrew Taylor was very knowledgeable and helpful and would not let you go until you learned everything. All the staff of the academy were very nice people. I had a very good experience there.

Did my CSCS and plastering level 2 here. Amazing tutors all around and decent facilities, great place for those who are wanting an entry into construction based work!

After some time of thinking of what is the options available to me due to covid19, I came across a post on Facebook about construction courses. I called Sheffield skills and spoke to someone by the Name of James who gave me all information and within 2 days of my visit to them I was starting my course. My tutor was Simon Wood who was excellent as he had over 20 years of experience in the industry. I must say Adam Wilson who is one of the main tutor's was always happy to help and support, even going out of his way to make sure you understand everything. Adam goes one step further and helped me with my CV and even job placement, ? Recommended. Thank you Adam Wilson and Simon Wood

I have thoroughly enjoyed learning and engaging with others. My skillset has expanded and as to has my confidence. We have learnt so much: risk assessments, safety measures and lots of practical learning too. The tutors are awsome. Adam is a top feller. So welcoming and approachable. Pete has the patience of a saint and has been very encouraging. strongly recommend learning and developing in construction with these guys. Thank you every one.

Sorry about the name on the review. My name is CATALIN TRANDAFIR. I just finished the first to weeks of introduction to construction and passed the test. The staff on the academy they are very helpful and polite. I am happy to continue the 6 weeks course on the academy. I want to say thank you to Adam who helped me to find my confidence.

Sheffield skills academy are a great start for you for learn and gain more skills and experiences. All members of staff are polite and you can have a laugh with them. Adam really helps you understand problems by taking his time and walking you through them step by step.
