Training at Simone Hopkins and Sons has massively improved my fitness, as well as allowing me to develop resilience and confidence, which has helped me at school and in day-to-day life. The instructors are all eager to help, passionate about the martial arts and an inspiration to the students. I attend a variety of different classes which are all great fun but include essential life skills such as self-defence and defence against knives. I would highly recommend Simone Hopkins and Sons to anyone who wants to learn how to defend themselves, get fitter and have fun!

Simone and the team are absolutely fantastic and dedicated. When my son started he was very shy and had issues with his confidence but very quickly he started to thrive learning with this academy. My son has been training for coming up a year now - and isn't looking back - he adores training here, and his confidence already is just incredible! He loves the training with all staff, and feels super accomplished! He has also trained with adults in workshops which are well organised and engaging. As a mum I'm so proud of him but also extremely thankful to everyone at the academy for everything they do! Can't recommend Simone Hopkins and Sons enough 🙂

My daughter wanted to try martial arts, so I asked for recommendations locally and contacted a few instructors. Simone was quick to reply, with lots of help, advice and information. We signed up for a free trial and haven’t looked back. Emily has never been a fan of traditional PE or team games, but Martial Arts has been brilliant for her! She loved it from the first moment! She’s learning so many things; she’s growing in confidence; she’s becoming stronger and fitter and is loving working through her belts. There is just the right level of challenge to keep them motivated and plenty of variety during classes. It’s evident that Simone and her sons are passionate about their craft and want to share it with others. The academy has a lovely family feel and the members are very supportive towards each other. The best martial arts acadamies I've seen in a long time. I trained for 13 years as a child and couldn't wait for my boy to follow in my footsteps. Bobby joined around a month or two ago and absolutely loves it! Simone has made him (and me) fell so welcome and shes brilliant with him as she is with all the kids on the class. You can clearly see that her and her sons are very passionate about what they do and do everything they can to bring out the best in their students. Honestly, she has made me want to start it up again and if I could I would be apart of the academy in a heartbeat.

My son has been attending for about 2 years now. He absolutely loves it! He has progressed well and wants to push himself to do better. Is it more expensive than other activities, yes, but the price is very competitive, there are also deals for families and bundle prices on equipment etc. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and with Simone and her Son's martial arts classes you are guaranteed to get a quality, fun, tough, disciplined sessions!
