Came for a swim, was charged about 15 quid for ten minutes. Due to receptionists not thinking to let us know there was a team who had booked out the whole pool. Not very impressed given we’d driven a way to get there n paid all that money for the sake of ten mins. Staff weren’t helpful either. Definitely not going back

The 6am alarm and anticipation of a sweaty morning gym session was quickly crushed due to an extremely unhelpful unaccommodating staff member who tried to charge £20 for a single days workout and was extremely dismissive despite my friend being a previous student and regular attendee of said gym. No help was given and this interaction took an extremely long time negating our early alarms and cutting into precious gym time due to the limited opening hours, forcing us to find an alternative gym.

The gym is very good. Lots of equipment and very cheap if you pay for a whole year monthly payments also very competitive compared to other gyms locally. Recently end of 2023 there has been a renovation with new equipment installed. Often quiet especially weekends.

I can only assume the people reviewing this sports centre havent been to the swimming pool - definitely dont believe the 'estate agent quality' photos of the pool on the website - advertised as "a 25 metre four lane competition pool.", as a competitive swimmer I can assure you it isnt:

- the pool itself is filthy (toilet tissue / tissue floating in the water, dirt on the bottom of the pool etc);
- the toilets off the changing room were flooded
- I don't know what was on the floor in the men's changing rooms, but it wasn't a great colour and I wasn't getting close enough to it to find out
- there are no lockers (only a sign saying that management take no responsibility for any losses for your valuables that you have nowhere to leave safely)
- the pool surrounds have that 1970s 'school pool vibe', which is probably when it was last renovated
- the 'app' (they call it an 'app', but there isnt an 'app', just an online website 1990s style) tells you that you have booked and paid, then when you turn up they say they have no record of this booking and you have to pay again (probably 50/50 if I've been charged twice)

I'm sure the (new) main sports centre is lovely, as it looks brand new, but this pool is disgusting.

I was in the area for a sports camp, so used this and the Truro Leisure Centre pool - if you are looking for a swimming pool don't go on the centre reviews, the Truro Leisure Centre is 10x better, and you can leave without feeling you need to visit the doctors to get your booster jabs.

Booked a space for badminton, a little pricey for the hour compared to penryn sports hall. Has free parking. Water fountain seemed to be broken, unless there was another I didn’t spot. Lighting alright. Good location

Little gem away from the crowds, it's a bit tired, fussy to pay then circle down to the swimming pool down lots of stairs, basic changing rooms but it's a school pool so it's exactly what you would expect. No co changing which makes it hard for a female parent with a young boy, so we got changed in the small disabled toilet which wasn't the nicest. Overall I love that we often have the pool to ourselves when we come, beats the holiday crowds. Staff are lovely.

Really nice leisure centre although we only used the Basketball court. Staff were pleasant and helpful and the court was well maintained while spotlessly clean

Good sports center with a large Hall for basketball, badminton etc, and a couple of seperate squash courts.

Squash courts do get a bit stuffy in this 30 degree C whether we're experiencing currently however.

Changing rooms are okay, and there is plentiful free on site parking. Prices are reasonable for non members; About £6 for 45 minutes for a squash court. Equipment hire is available and reasonably priced.
