Attended the NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor course in May 2022. The course is very intense and there is a lot of knowledge to take in but is very relevant to the work on the highways. The teacher John was excellent and knew everything there was to know and taught us very well with no issues whatsoever. Be warned only attend this course if you understand civil engineering principles and specifications because if you don’t you will fail. Also note you can re-sit the sections you fail for free at a later date at this centre. Also if you are coming here bring £8 in coins per day!

The Skills Training Centre offer courses that are effective, informative and efficient in their delivery. We have been working with Paul, Karen, Claudine and the rest of the team for almost 15 years and they are a pleasure to deal with.

Just finished a Winter Maintenance Training City & Guilds . The Training was just what we needed , Skills Training Centre met all our requirements and took our team of trainers through a 2 day training and 1 day assessment. Instructors have a wide spread of Knowledge to share and it was delivered in a way that the course was interesting and relevant. On Assessment day we’re lots of people might be nervous you are put at ease and guided through expertly by the accessor . Five of us took the course all five enjoyed it and now we can go into the winter period with confidence and with the skills to carry out the tasks required , Big thanks to Stan and Jay the two trainers and accessors 👍👍

Don't know how the other courses are but the Street Works course is an utter farce. Tutor has literally chained his knowledge to himself and refuses to share. You are not there to learn, because in their view you should be experienced. They will fail you in the hope you rebook and spend another £700 to re sit the exams. A total shambles. AVOID!
