What a lovely shop. Beautiful punk lady who works here - don’t expect fawning middle class twaddle for your spoilt brats - just enjoy a real shop. Good soundtrack….

Appalling service and returns policy. Cycled an hour from south London with a receipt and a product I needed to return. It was 5.35pm and the staff told me I had '10 minutes' to find something to replace it with even though their closing time is 6pm. They added they don't give your money back even with the receipt. When I picked an item that was of slightly less value than the item I was returning they refused to refund the difference and gave me a 'gift voucher' for £2!! They claimed there was nothing they could do about it as their boss was 'out'. I could have kicked up a fuss in a way that would have left the staff in tears but I was fatigued and so disgusted at their greed that I couldn't be bothered. A truly despicable, greedy business. Avoid!!

It feels like the staff genuinely would rather be elsewhere - on several occasions that we’ve been in to look at toys and presents, there always seems to be a strange atmosphere of being watched closely whilst looking at items. It feels like taking things down from the shelf to have a closer look isn’t something the staff like to see you doing. Nobody approaches you to offer advice or see if they can help you, staff very much stay behind the counter and let you get on with it. My sister bought a few items in the shop and 2 items broke relatively soon after, she went back to the shop to show the sales assistant with her receipt but the shop assistant just shrugged her shoulders and evidently didn’t care that the items were not of quality. Customer service is basically non existent but if you’re desperate to buy a present or small stocking filler type toys and Niddle Noddle, Waterstones and Jojo are closed, then you have no other choice.

I visited this delightful toy shop again to find a gift for a a 7 year old boy. The assistant Ginniene was so helpful and kind. The shop has toys and gifts and children’s clothing to suit all budgets and so many different great options! From the traditional wooden toys to creative packs, fancy dress, outdoor toys..it is like an Aladdin’s cave.
Brilliant place to take your child on a special occasion, or a place to go before a party! 👍🥳😍

Great selection of kids toys. I was buying two gifts for upcoming birthdays and the staff were helpful to the point of excellently gift wrapping them when I mentioned the purchases were birthday gifts. I read some poor reviews before going and they certainly don't reflect my experience. Great service and wonderful staff.

Went into shop to buy a toy. Firstly the ticket price showed £4.50 the v rude shop assistant or owner l am not sure. Told me it was incorrect pricing . It should read £9 50. By law she would have to sell it at the price marked. I think they should close up shop & the worker should find a new job-- perhaps in a mens prison or something like that. Never had such bad customer service. I will not go there again.

As a new customer I was satisfied that I could order an item that I had been looking for. Everything was running normally and I was able to finalize the purchase with shipping costs included. However, my surprise was great when I received an email a few hours later with the message that I had to make an additional deposit because the shipping costs were not correct and were practically double. I had never experienced this yet ... ... After a few emails I was informed that the shipping costs had not yet been updated and that I could get my money back. Lucky I paid with Pay Pall. They will never see me here again.

Not even worth the one star. Have to agree completely with the other reviews regarding the extremely rude staff. No welcome; just told immediately to keep my son in his pushchair despite no clear signs to do so and there being a slightly younger child walking around the shop. Told not to let my son touch any of the small, what I would call, 'pocket money' toys at the front of the store. I understand times are different but it is completely pointless being open in my opinion if children aren't allowed to touch anything (which I would have likely bought). I was wearing a mask and sanitised my hands as I entered so didn't feel we were doing anything we shouldn't. Left quite abruptly and spent £50 in another shop (who were absolutely lovely). Shall never bother again. Horrible place.
