I am doing the marine engineering course at the moment and it is top notch ive learned welding, electrics and lots more. Theres such a wide verity of skills to learn ?

It was the worst experience of my life, there were about a total of 5 teachers throughout the whole college, so unorganised, it was that bad that some of the students were able to just not show up and just went to the cinema or bowling/arcade instead of turning up to there lessons

Absolutely awful college, teachers haven’t got a clue and it’s the most unorganised place I’ve ever been to.

The facilities are good. Organisation is poor. Too many times where I’ve come in to learn and there has not been a lesson plan for the day. Also have not had a science teacher for over a month now. All they do is give you work sheets to complete and expect you to do them, even though you may not have been taught the relevant information to complete it. As an electrical apprentice, I’m expected to complete the course in 4 years. This is going to be a very, very long 4 years.

Very nice college great support from tutors

Steer clear from this most unorganised college I've ever had to experience. Tutors changing with no notice, tutors with anger issues, or just disappear during class, who don't give good impression at all. No communication whatsoever in the apprenticeship team. Take forever to return calls and emails. Nobody follows things up and nobody knows anything! I even turned up to speak to someone face to face and was turned away because no one could tell me what was happening. If you have issues crop up with the employer don't expect any immediate assistance from the college or at all. When covid/lockdown knock on effect caused my son to be let go by his employer the college didn't even get in touch to help in any way. 2 years wasted in the air con department! Was offered to do exams to at least come away with qualifications before being dropped by the college and tutors mucked about so much and then left! to be replaced by someone who didn't know what was going on, so disappointed in this so called place of study. Should have known when they enrolled my son on the wrong course in the beginning. I was warned against this place but took it with a pinch of salt. But Don't waste your time here.
