I started training with SW Paramotors in April 2021, a well needed escape after lockdown. Oscar guided me carefully through the stages of training until I had reached a level of competence such that he would allow me to graduate. Every stage of the programme had been well thought out by Oscar, his training style and thoroughness were excellent and the equipment was new and well maintained. Having now completed 140+ flights since graduating, I still fail to find any fault in the training he provided.

I completed a further training course with SW Paramotors in August 2022, to convert to BHPA Club Pilot rating (now as standard) and I am booked to undertake further advance training from Oscar this Autumn.

In addition to the above, I have been overwhelmed by the support provided by the community surrounding the school. Oscars graduates have developed a tight knit group of like-minded people who support and encourage each other like family. It is not just training you receive from SW Paramotors, but entry into a welcoming community of pilots, developing their skills and experience together.

I give South West Paramotors my recommendation 100%.

Having completed my paramotor Club Pilot training under Oscar Haynes at SW PPG, I couldn't be happier with level of tuition given and knowledge i have gained while training in a safe and supportive environment. I will definitely be expanding my training and knowledge on further courses only with SW PPG. Will be looking at the Pilot rating once I have some more flying hours under my belt.
The community of paramotor pilots that have trained and now fly together is rivalled by none, I'm so happy to be a part of this wonderful community, onwards and upwards.

I commenced training with SouthWest Paramotors in January 2022, and from the start have been impressed by Oscar's professionalism in his approach to the provision of both practical and classroom-based tuition. He has fast become a significant and respected training provider with demonstrable skills and experience that have made the learning process safe, effective and entertaining. This has enabled him to secure BHPA registration, thereby allowing me to work towards achieving the nationally-recognised paramotor qualification.

All specialist equipment is available, is new or relatively new, and well maintained. Oscar has also provided great guidance and support when purchasing my own equipment, at appropriate stages of the training process.

Oscar has provided exceptional mentoring, applying appropriate levels of encouragement, to assure my development, but respecting those occasions when I required more time to mentally/physically prepare for the next step.

I have yet to demonstrate competency in some of the practical requirements, and am looking forward to working with Oscar and being signed off in 2023.

I can certainly recommend Oscar to anyone wanting to engage with the highly rewarding world of paramotoring.

I would 100% recommend Oscar to anyone thinking about learning to fly a paramotor in the Southwest.
Oscar is an excellent instructor.
I really enjoyed his calm and professional manner, as well as his superb way of simplifying an instruction so that it was easy to understand, even for an old fella like me when I was feeling the pressure of a lot of new information all coming at once.
The southwest Paramotor equipment is all very current and in fantastic condition.
I always felt like I was in very safe hands and I learnt a huge amount in a really short period of time.
I had previously trained with a school in Spain and I have now discovered one major flaw in that plan. Flying is a process of constant learning and that just isnt practical with an instructor overseas. With Oscar at SouthWest Paramotors I can pick up the phone and book some more training so easily.
My BHPA C.P. is now passed thanks to SouthWest Paramotors, which has made me so happy and I am now looking forward to flying and studying so that I can work towards my PP qualification.

I learnt to fly at SouthWest Paramotors and it has been an amazing experience. Don't let Oscar's youthful looks fool you, he is probably one of the most experienced and talented Paramotor pilots in the UK. I can't recommend him enough. Not only is he an amazing pilot, he is also a fantastic and patient teacher. If you're thinking about it...just do it.
